Now that Tim Burton & Helena Bonham Carter have mutually parted ways, I have decided that it is time to officially end this blog. MrandMrsBurton will stay up for remembrance but will no longer be updated. I’ve enjoyed a wonderful journey sharing my appreciation for this couple with you all. Your latest Tilena edit, I love it, but really hits me hard. "Timeline" ... how I hate that word now...tells me every wonderful thing ends...

Darling, I know its hard to grasp that it could be over, but lets just be happy that such a wonderful thing did actually happen. I bet they don’t regret any day that they spent together in their relationship. Even though it ended, the decision was made for the better for both of them. We just have to accept that and keep moving on because that’s life. Like HBC says we gotta “keep buggering on”

Guys, remember when in January last year Helena and Tim said they were taking time off to be parents and maybe get married? And then Helena did like 5 films and Tim did one?

As devastated as I am about the news I’m going to live in hope; last year we were all acting like it was the end of the world they were taking a break- and was it?

I was re-reading the article where they said they might get married and I love the bit where Helena says Billie thought they were already married because of a picture of them mucking about on Sweeney Todd.

So because I think we all need cheering up I thought I’d share that picture with you. I’ve had it for a while but I wasn’t going to share it as I thought it was too special. Now I have realised that as a fandom we all share the same feeling and better for a thousand people to enjoy it than I alone. So enjoy :) But please don’t repost or remove my watermark.

Do you know who I mean?’ I replied that not only did I knew whom he meant but that I had two children by him and, in fact, he was standing behind him. The man looked round and nearly died.”

I am completely heart broken about this news.

This blog will stay up in remembrance of what was once the definition of true love. All good things must come to an end, right?
