Formation World Tour in New Jersey (Oct. 7)

Beyoncé accepting her award for “Best Urban Contemporary Album” at The 59th GRAMMY Awards on February 12, 2017
I have NEVER seen a woman be more criticized for daring to be pregnant than Beyoncé. EVER. Last time it was fake (apparently, it is now, too), now she’s “rubbing it in our faces” for daring to appear publicly….twice. TWO TIMES. When Blue was born and she posted photos finally, Blue was ugly, then she was rubbing THAT in our face, too (”we get it, you love your child”). Now she’s transphobic for celebrating her own pregnancy, for celebrating BLACK motherhood as if Black motherhood isn’t constantly derided and dismissed and disrespected. All this cause you don’t like a bitch’s music? Really? Do y’all hear y’all selves? Please choke.
Please don’t tell me people are reaching that hard and calling her transphobic for having a baby
It’s because Black women are supposed to be the world’s punching bags. I’ve never seen so many people spit so much vitriol at one person who doesn’t even appear that much publicly, engage in social media, or speak publicly.
“This is something I want for every child of every race. And I feel it’s vital that we learn from the past and recognize our tendencies to repeat our mistakes.“ - Beyoncé
Baptize me… now that reconciliation is possible.
