We talked with five Houston “DREAMers” the day President Trump announced a possible end to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, known as DACA. “For me, to have DACA today feels very uncertain,” said Karen Martinez.
“But I’ve always known that DACA is not a permanent solution for my situation in this country. So I’m really hoping that this activates other people and our communities so we can fight for a permanent solution, because we cannot keep living like this.”

As an immigrant from Istanbul Turkey I can relate to your difficult situation. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. In fact all of my family came to saint Louis Missouri USA in 92. We wish all of you are permitted to remain in this wonderful land and the best of luck and fortune. Take care.
