I know rn you're out with luts but when you're at other shows are you shooting for a publication?

no, I've been fortunate enough to make a few friends who have been able to get me into other shows, so I'm just shooting for myself when I'm not touring.

what high end lenses do you recommend with a low budget for concert photography?

I started out with a Tamron 17-50 F/2.8, the main thing you want to focus on is a high aperture, anything like 1.4, 1.8, 2.8 are all good.the cheapest option is probably the canon 50nm 1.8! they call it the "nifty fifty" runs at around $100-$120

Hello!! I'm going to quite a few shows this year and would like to take shoot concert photography. Can you recommend some small compact cameras that you like? I know compact cameras won't have the best quality, but what is the best brand or specific camera you prefer? Thank you :)

hmm any of the higher end Sony cameras I'd say! I've never shot with a compact before so I'm not 100% sure, but I've never heard bad things about Sony's compacts
