Sean Prescott’s role in Life Is Strange as the main villain
Sean Prescott was meant to have a bigger role in Life Is Strange. Because of budget issues and episode 5 being rushed, it never came into fruition.
The Prescotts knew about the storm. They have a network of “Stormbreak bunkers” (one of which is the hiding place for the dark room, but that’s probably not why it was built) around Arcadia bay. They also sponsor the “Vortex club” (a.k.a. Tornado/hurricane club) hosting an “End of the World Party” on the eve of the tornado’s landfall.

i’m going to make a sense of me/chemicals edit get ready to cry ur eyes out
The Remastered Bay ending
Oh boy. As if hearing “Spanish Sahara” again wasn’t bad enough, now Max is visibly crying during Chloe’s funeral. In the original she vaguely wipes at her eye and looks around uncomfortably, but in the remaster she’s clearly wiping away tears and looks so much more lost and detached.
What’s interesting is that the sight of the butterfly doesn’t immediately comfort her in the remaster. There are tears still running down her face as she looks upon it with such an exhausted, sad expression, as if she’s instead trying to find some sort of meaning or comfort in it.
This was the most interesting change to me– Max can barely bring herself to smile at the very end. In the original, Max has a sort of tired smile (half-lidded eyes and a small smile) that you can see even before she lifts her head and faces the player. In the remaster, the body mocap is kept the same, so she still lifts her head. But the new facial mocap has her blink much more slowly, eyes still downcast, before she finally looks up and manages (forces?) a barely visible smile. But even then, there are tears still running down her face. There’s no poetic, bittersweet, “it’s better this way” message with the butterfly and Max’s smile. It’s just tragic. It’s all these tiny changes that make the total tragedy of this ending hit so much harder.
ok did anyone else catch how max wore the same dress at chloe’s funeral as she did to williams funeral in farewell?????
WHY DIDNT ANYONE WARN ME THAT FAREWELL TAKES PLACE ON THE DAY WILLIAM DIED ⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️ i was having sm fun running around snooping in the prices house dressed as a pirate until chloe mentioned that she wondered when her parents were going to get home and then i realized and started BAWLING BRO 😭😭😭 SOMEHOW dontnot manages to make that scene hurt MORE every time theyve shown it

Currently in art block phase. But there was a time for some small sketches. My fav duo from the game. You can support me on instagram griseo.art
it is unbelievably fucked up how long nathan was denied help. you can literally overhear sean prescott and dr bill in before the storm arguing about how nathan needs fucking help.
dr bill: “sir, i believe your son is manifesting serious and alarming symptoms. allow me the chance to —“
sean prescott: “nathan’s already getting more than enough help attention from one of you. i am fed up with these made up problems”
before the storm took place 3 years before life is strange. THREE WHOLE YEARS. he was neglected and abused for SO long before he ended up dead in a ditch, just like rachel
pov: you dream about Rachel as she tries to help you solve her disappearance
this is 100% inspired by twin peaks, just like Rachel Amber is completely inspired by Laura Palmer after all
(i post most of my art on ig as @/lif3.0n.mars)
