I’ve noticed people are looking at my old posts again! Is this your way of saying I should get back to work 💔
The last time I took a super long extended break was when I started paramedic school… and this time it was nursing school… but we will try and see this challenge through to the end. If pathophysiology and pharmacology don’t kill me first 😔

Willow Creek- Windenburg, 1920s
It was a long train ride back to Windenburg, and the girls thought the situation back in Willow Creek was behind them.
Until they walked into the house and found their dad sitting in the living room. Neither Virginia nor June had ever really been disciplined by their father before. By Colette, yes. By aunt Amelie. By teachers, even by the maids from time to time. But ever by their own dad. But today, they could just tell, something was different.
Virginia and June shyly entered the living room. "Dad, hi", Virginia began.
"Virginia Grace. You've really gone too far this time."
"I'm sorry dad, it was a mistake-"
"Some mistake Virginia. I don't know what to do with you! I had to buy a new car, and what it cost to get them to drop the charges and pay off that cop to lose your record- that's a number I can't even think about."
"Dad", June began, "It wasn't Ginnie. It was me. She was just trying to look out for me."
"June, don't be ridiculous."
"Yeah, June", Virginia agreed. "I've made my bed."
"Virginia," Nico continued, "I've made arrangements with your uncle Maxime in Britechester. He's managed to pull some strings, and you'll be attending the academy for the upcoming school year. I think the some structure is what you need."
Fun fact: a big part of the reason why I started a decades challenge, aside from needing a new creative outlet and also being super inspired by @pixelnrd, was to get people coming to my page so that they would see the link for my save file. But regardless, I've always had so much trouble getting people to see it and download it. But somehow, in the past maybe 24 hours I've gotten 15 downloads. Which maybe isn't much but it is, like, a 100% increase over the past 4 years.
After putting so much blood, sweat and tears into this save file I have no other way to describe this but that I feel like a ghost who can finally rest peacefully and enjoy the afterlife (playing the Sims without having this looming in the back of my mind).
Anyway, it just feels really good to have people enjoying something that I poured so much love and passion into, and I want to thank everyone here who does or has enjoyed any of my creative work. It means so much to me <3
And, of course, here is the link for version 2. We have even more updates yet to come and I think I will finally start working on the Strangetown families and their stories, but I hope you all enjoy for now!
Willow Creek, 1920s
The rest of the day continues in a blur. The cop who showed up at the house sent a telegram to Nico-
"DAUGHTER INVOLVED IN AUTO ACCIDENT. NO FATALITIES. LEGAL GUARDIAN CONTACT REQUIRED. -WILLOW CREEK POLICE DEPARTMENT."
Virginia had to wait at the police department until they heard back. Luckily, it wasn't long before the same cop came back to retrieve her. "Alright, miss, off you go. Daddy said his lawyer's taken care of it."
June, who had waited the entire time, embraced Virginia as she left, tears running down her face. "Ginnie, you didn't have to do that for me."
"It's done, June. I wasn't about to let them haul you off while you weer shaking like a leaf. What happened to Edmund? I thought you said he was there with you?"
June hesitated. "He was. I told him to run. He wanted to take the fall for me, but he has warrants, Ginnie. If the police get ahold of him, he's finished. He doesn't have a daddy looking out for him like we do."
Willow Creek, 1920s
Ginnie had just fallen asleep when she was startled awake to knocking on the front door.
"Margaret, Lionel, Virginia and June." She heard their aunt calling. "Get out here. Now."
June could feel her stomach in her throat as the two leapt up and ran to the stairs, hoping for the best, but expecting the worst.
As she reached the landing, her fears were confirmed. There with her aunt and uncle was an officer. She could make out the words "... saw a male and a female... around 15 to 21 years...".
After that, she felt that she had blacked out most of the day- only key moments remaining.
The four of them lined up on the couch, the police officer standing in front of them.
The officer speaking, "stolen vehicle... fled the scene..."
Ginnie standing up, confrontational and brave- "It was me, sir."

You're kidding
For the past little bit now, I’ve been hard at work on a Sims 2 to Sims 4 save file known as The Sims 2 Revival. It’s all your favourite Sims 2 townies, but set 15 years in the future. They’ve all grown up, found jobs, and started families- however, there’s now new names, new faces and new drama. Once again, you can choose how the lives of all the iconic Pleasantview families play out. Download the save file here, and get to work on figuring out what’s been going on in Pleasantview- after all, it’s been 15 years since you’ve last seen them.
Currently working on an update, about 4 years after this was initially created!
Can't wait to make some improvements and make an even better save file! We're starting with a Broke Family makeover ~
In case anyone wants to play now, here's the link!
Willow Creek, 1920s
It's the last night before the two girls head back to Windenburg, and Ginnie is fast asleep in the guest room of her aunt and uncles' house, until she hears June's frantic voice whispering to her in the dark.
"Ginnie? Ginnie, please wake up. I messed up. Really bad."
Still half asleep, Virginia sat up in an attempt to orient herself to what was going on. Her sister's breath smelled like nectar, and as her eyes adjusted to the dim light, she could see that she had been crying.
"Junie? What's wrong, what happened?"
June adjusted her position on the bed, her breath catching as she tried explain without breaking down into sobs. Eventually, she managed to calm herself down enough to tell Virginia the story.
"Well, I was with Edmund", she started. "We had been drinking, and... and he pulled out these car keys. Said he nicked 'em. He asked if I wanted to take it out for a joyride. I didn't want him to think I'm a flat tire, so I agreed..." June took another deep breath, her shoulders starting to shake. "Ginnie, I crashed that old bucket right into a tree-"
"Junie", she interrupted. "Did anyone see you?"
"No, I don't think so, I- I don't know, I was so flustered."
"Okay, well, if nobody saw you... then you're fine. We're going home tomorrow, Junie, it'll be fine. Let's get some sleep now."
And so, June fell into a fitful sleep. But Virginia remained wide awake, mind racing, until she heard the sing-song of birds outside signaling a new day.
Too many bottles of this wine we can't pronounce Too many bowls of that green, no Lucky Charms The maids come around too much Parents ain't around enough Too many joy rides in daddy's Jaguar Too many white lies and white lines Super rich kids with nothin' but loose ends Super rich kids with nothin' but fake friends
lowkey highkey glad to be almost done with the 20s, it's been a nightmare finding so much different clothing for the earlier generations
These last 3-4 posts have taken so much time to set up omfg I hope you all like them
