Given the secrecy behind JCB as Celeborn, only to reveal it in the first trailer…I’m genuinely half expecting everything we saw to actually be Sauron as Celeborn. He is the Great Deceiver, after all.

And the real Celeborn we won’t see until further into the season, maybe not until S4.

And fine, I’m a little biased from JCB’s role in Stranger Things, this sort of twist just makes sense to me lol. But he’s a great actor to portray Sauron's version plus the real version, so I can see them doing that.
