Danee the Darling (ish)

First off: I'm desperately in love with Fred Wealsey.I'm an SPN, Sherlock, and Friends addict (along with many other shows). I also LOVE books, and consequently have far too many. I have three cats (and a dog), which I find to be too small a number. I am an unprofessional writer and actress. My sisters and I all have names that start with A (yes, I know it says my name is Danee at the top of the page - that's a nickname). As you can see from my user name I have a thing for the greats, Sherlock Holmes (from the telly show Sherlock, based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's imfamous character), Dean Winchester (SPN), Sirius Black (Harry Potter), and Dally Winston (The Outsiders). I have a severe obsession with notebooks (when they were on sale at Staples I allegedly bought 30 for 15 cents each...). My best friend is named Catrin (short for Catarina and long for Cat, but the same for my nickname for her - Catsey), and I love her with all of my heart (well... the part that isn't wholly dedicated to books, notebooks, telly, animals, my sisters, my boyfriend ((his name's Arran)), and the sometimes rock of Bon Jovi).

Kiki’s Delivery Service: The smell of fresh-baked bread. May be interested in herbalism, natural medicine, and/or witchcraft. The feeling of the wind blowing back one’s hair. Likes helping other people, regardless of whether they know them or not. Still learning to navigate life. Cute hair ties and simple dresses. Forms close bonds with people.

Whisper of the Heart: Notebooks, papers, and pens scattered on a desk. Contemplating the future at 1:00 a.m. Has a billion ideas for creative writing pieces. Old antiques that evoke strong emotions. Gasping when one realizes they have romantic feelings for someone. Casual, comfy clothing and short hair. Ultimately does what they want to do.

Spirited Away: Ancient temples surrounded by fog. Cautious yet courageous. Gardens filled with hydrangeas. Hot baths followed by wrapping oneself in soft towels. Might punch someone who harms their friends. Interested in ghosts/spirits/mythical beings/etc. Possibly nostalgic for the past.

Princess Mononoke: Willing to fight for causes that they deem important. Interested in religion and/or mythology. Calming walks through the woods with the sun streaming through the trees. The contrasting smells of nature and industrialization. Has great makeup.

My Neighbor Totoro: Fresh produce. Prefers living in the country over the city. The feeling of mystery and wonder when entering a new place. Fluffy animals playing in green grass. Family-oriented. Adventures into the forest paired with wild imagination. Likes wholesome movies with happy endings.

Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind: The buzzing of insects outdoors. Cares about the environment. A natural-born leader. Probably enjoys chemistry and/or biology. Has a calming presence towards animals. The sting from wind blowing sand onto one’s face. The scents of fresh air and water.

Howl’s Moving Castle: Interested in magic and fantasy. Probably enjoyed at one point/still enjoys Harry Potter. The slight blush across one’s face as they stroll through fields of flowers with their lover. A child at heart, regardless of their age. A fireplace illuminating a messy, dust-covered room. Has some self-doubt. Mysterious characters are their type.

I don’t know if you’ve actually seen this episode, but Pam invites the entire office to her art show that she’s been gearing up for for a really long time. Nobody shows up except for Oscar and his partner (and they critique her work, calling her “lacking in courage” among other things, not realizing she is standing right behind them) and then Michael. And Michael is the only one who tells her she is great just for putting herself out there, and the only one who places value on what she’s done, and he points out all the little details she got right and notices absolutely every bit of hard work she put into it. And then treats Pam like the artist she is by not just paying her for her art, but displaying it where literally everyone can see it.

It’s one of my favorite episodes.

SHE GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL AT THE TOP OF HER CLASS, AND WAS ACCEPTED TO HARVARD AND YALE BUT CHOSE TO GO TO UCLA BECAUSE SHE WANTED TO STAY CLOSE TO HER FAMILY. 

SHE EARNED A BACHELORS IN NEUROSCIENCE, HEBREW STUDIES, AND JEWISH STUDIES ALL AT THE SAME TIME.

SHE THEN WENT ON TO GET HER DOCTORATE AND A Ph.D. IN NEUROSCIENCE, WHILE BALANCING AN ACTING CAREER AND MOTHERHOOD.

SHE HAS BEEN THE BUTT OF SO MANY FASHION JOKES AND ANTI-SEMETIC JOKES IN HOLLYWOOD. WHEN PEOPLE SAW HER AS AMY, THEY RIDICULED HER ONLINE. 

BUT SHE STUCK WITH IT. BECAUSE SHE IS A BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING PERSON AND IS HAVING NONE OF THIS “WOMEN CAN’T BE SUCCESSFUL AND SMART BULLSHIT.
