So I finally put together a shadow box of the swag I got from sponsoring The Last Outpost. I’m going to distress the frame somewhat, but otherwise I’m happy with it.
Also worth noting: taking pictures of glass fronted shadow boxes is HARD!
sawdustbear lookie! (Or at least take a look when you have a break from professional arting.)
Thank you for supporting our madness!
I very much wished I could have helped you guys build, but that was the summer I had no time for art projects... Maybe next time.
If you are interested in purchasing some of my Mad Max Fury Road Lino prints let me know. I still have some left for interested parties.

Did you know: Chris Evans gets panic attacks. Yes, he does. This is one reason why he’s very private and didn’t really do any meet-and-greets on the Avengers’ sets.
It amazes and inspired me that a man who does what he does can do it, even with an anxiety disorder. You go, Chris.
This is why I get so upset when I hear negative comments about Chris and how he doesn’t seem as out-going as the rest of the Avengers cast. I remember hearing people complain about how he’s ‘rude’ and the like and it’s sad, because I highly doubt he intends to come off that way, he’s just more reserved than the others.
I remember hearing once that he actually went to seek psychiatric help before accepting the role of Captain America because of how anxious he felt regarding it. As well as the fact that he already played another Marvel superhero and he was concerned how comic fans would react to his playing another hero in that universe.
Just because someone’s in the entertainment industry doesn’t mean they’re going to be incredibly outgoing off camera just as much as they appear to be on camera. Some people just really enjoy acting; they’re not the characters they portray nor are they like their costars nor are they going to be incredibly outgoing because of their choice of career.

Who among us hasn’t had that awful fucking “I know I shouldn’t be ashamed to admit I needed help from a professional but here I am feeling like shit” face when talking to someone about mental health stuff. Ugh. My heart
His being open about therapy is really important. It will help other people who need help feel less ashamed about it. This is more important than meet and greets.
ALSO (because I forgot earlier)! When he is in situations where he’s the center of attention (for example press tours for Marvel movies) he’s always really hyper, and goofy, and dorky? And people kept saying things like “OMG HE’S SO DRUNK!”
The thing is though? People with anxiety? Some of us do stuff like that. We overcompensate and we end up being goofy, hyper, excitable, etc. And sure, that sometimes makes it look like we’re drunk or inebriated. But we’re not. Our brains are just working so fast, we’re freaking out, and we’re having a fight or flight response. We’re trying to make sure we don’t come across as being “weird.” But in those circumstances it presents itself as Happy Go Lucky Drunk Goofball.
I dunno, that really bugs me when people are like “Where’s his handler? How’re they letting him have so much alcohol?” No, that’s just an anxiety response.
