“Are you sure you just didn’t drank a little too much yesterday? ‘Cause to me it seems like you’re having a pretty bad hangover.” Tilting her head a bit, Sam eyed up the woman in front of her. “Or maybe someone stole your organs to sell them on Ebay. How much do you remember exactly? I mean, apart from not going to bed.”

Bubbles shoke her, giggling slightly, “I doubt it was that. I’ve actually never had any type of alcoholic drink...ever. And I’m pretty sure you can’t get a hangover from Dr. Pepper or Chocolate milk.” Her eyes widened slightly at the others mention of someone stealing her organs and selling them on Ebay. “I mean, I thnk I still have all my organs,” she said quickly as she patted around her body, as if she were checking if it felt like any of her organs were missing. “Well...I don’t...really know. I don’t think I remember anything else.”

“You’re correct. That is indeed what the bright side is. Not dark at all.” Blossom repeated with a slight giggle herself. Classic Bubbles for you. “What would you say the most beautiful place is? I mean, I agree, this is up there but not the most beautiful.” The redhead put her hand to her chin, “Hmm… perhaps we need to have a picnic then. Go down to the shore and admire the beauty. Also go looking for seashells. I want to build up a collection to put in a vase by my bedside.”

Bubbles pursed her lips as she thought for a moment. “I don’t really remember it all that well. Just that it was the most beautiful place I’d ever been. It was right outside where we were before...” she trailed off as she thought for a bit longer. “It was really green and had, like, a cliff. I don’t know, I think the greener the place is, the prettier.” At the redhead’s mention of a picnic, Brooke nodded her head. “Yes! I can make cute little cupcakes for it! And we could swim, and let the little fishies tickle our toes, maybe we’ll see some turtles!” She spoke in such a fast, excited voice that it came out as if it were just one word said in one breath of air. After taking a deep breath, the blonde continued, smiling as Blossom spoke of her idea for seashells, “You know, taht is a very Blossom thing to do. Like, vases full of seashells. If I saw that somewhere, I would definitely think of you.”

Blossom laughed gently at her sisters words. Bubbles was one of her favorite people in the world and not just because she had to be. Though they were sisters, they were also best friends and that was by choice not by certificate. The blonde was just someone she loved to have around. “Always looking on the bright side. This place is rather beautiful isn’t it? Have you explored the shoreline yet?”

“Well, of course! The bright side is always better. It’s not...as dark,” Bubbles chuckled. “It’s so pretty! I mean, it’s not the most beautiful place on earth but, it’s pretty darn close, yeah?” She made a small pouty face when her sister mentioned the shoreline, “I’ve so wanted to but, no. I haven’t made it down there yet.”

Bubbles scrunched her face up as she tried to remember just exactly when she had woke up. “Uhhmm..I don’t really know. But, I am pretty sure the sun was, like, in the middle of the sky.”

Riley watched the blonde speak with wide eyes, amazed at the way she could just keep going and going about nothing in particular, filling the silence in a way that Riley had never been very good at. She gave a laugh, however, at the terms of the game. “That’s not a bad idea,” she decided, because she was admittedly pretty good at consuming ridiculous amounts of ice cream. “Prepare to lose, though. I love ice cream.”

“Of course it’s not a bad idea,” Bubbles said with a small giggle. “I don’t ever have bad ideas.” She raised an eyebrow as the other told her to prepare to lose. If she was being honest, the girl’s confidence in this game really impressed her but, at the same time it sparked her competitiveness. “Well, don’t underestimate my love for ice cream, little one. By the way, I’m Brooke. Well, everyone normally calls me Bubbles so you could call me that if you’d like. And what’s the name of the girl who will be buying me ice cream tomorrow?”

“So, like, did anyone else wake up with the biggest headache they’ve ever had in their entire life?” The blonde asked from the bench where she lay sprawled out. “And the weirdest part of it is that I don’t even remember going to sleep last night. So, shouldn’t I have not, like, woke up with one but instead just get one? Does that make sense or am I just saying words?”

Known best as Bubbles, the girl gained her nickname for her more bubbly nature. She is the more innocent child in the Utonium family and that hasn’t always made things the easiest. Bubbles was an easy target for her sister Brynn to pick on and a perfect person for Bailey to push around. Her father, though, has always made her feel like her more gentle nature was just fine. That she was fine even though her sisters were a bit more rough and tough and take charge sort of girls. 

Bubbles has always wondered if she gets her more sensitive side from her biological mother, a woman she’s never met before.The girls father had never wanted to settle down and get married but he did always want to have children. There was something about raising kids that appealed to him, leaving other humans to stand by his ideals and leave their mark on the world, to be a father. He felt that even though he didn’t want the commitment of a ‘special someone’ that didn’t mean he had to lead a childless life. The Professor went to three different surrogates, deciding that three was the perfect number of children for him to have, and one of those surrogates just so happened to be Bubbles mother. 

Due to the contract that was signed, however, she had no rights to act as a mother to Bubbles. And, even though she’s always wanted to meet her biological mom, the girl is fine with only knowing her father. She loves her father, he’s the best father in the world in her opinion! Still, in a strange new town it would be nice not to always

“I mean, they did give me a few weird look,” Riley admitted, looking at the cone for a hesitant moment before shrugging her shoulders. “It’s definitely worth it. I can share with you, if you’d like. Just because I got it, doesn’t necessarily mean it was a good idea. It’s a little intimidating.”

“Weird looks are a part of life, honestly. Weird looks are still looks, which means they’re noticing you in some way, which is typically a good thing, right?” She gave the other a bright smile, “Share? Although I believe that you should always share whenever you get the chance to because it’s one of the nicest things a person could do, I think I’ll get my own. And then we could play a game! First one to get a brain freeze or whoever can’t finish their cone, has to buy the other an ice cream tomorrow!”

Bubbles eyes widened as she looked at the six scoop ice cream cone the other held in her hands. “Wow! All you did was ask and they just made if for you? They didn’t tell you it would rot your teeth ar anything like that? That’s typically what happens, you know. But, naywhozzles, who are they and please point me in the direction of the wonderful ice cream people.”

“But, seriously, does anyone know how good the smoothies are here? I mean, it sucks being trapped forever, but the smoothies are pretty amazing and make up for it. Sort of.” Lilian giggled and sipped from her drink.

“Are they, like, ‘I wanna drink one forever and never not have one’ good or just, like, ‘These are pretty good and I’d like to have one every once in a while’ good? Because those are very different types of good,” Bubbles said, bopping her head around as she spoke. “Both still mean good, though.”
