Her face flushed a deep red and she struggled to find the words. “I-I’m not used to talking to strangers. Or…being hit on by a stranger. Or…well…being hit on…at all.” She tried to calm down and act cool, but talking to guys made her nervous. Really nervous.
"I can't imagine that being true." He held his hand up. "I mean, look at you. You're..." He made a face as though unable to come up with a word for properly gorgeous, at least one that could describe her effectively. "I'm sorry if I'm making you uncomfortable, and my compliments are a bit strange. I would have learned how to talk to women more proficiently, but my father was always more interested in the tan poolboy than teaching me anything about the fairer sex." He chuckled slightly, sensing tension in the air. The feel of her discomfort resonated and he realized he was not so good with this whole flirting thing.
"Tiffany Heard." She chuckled, "It’s nice to meet you."
"Well, Tiffany. It's nice to meet you, too." A slight smirk lingered across his lips as his eyes trailed over her face, pausing briefly on her lips. He nearly physically jumped when he realized he was staring. "Sorry, you just have a beautiful smile. Not to be that creepy guy that stares at you for extended periods of time without saying anything." He continued to speak, barely pausing for a breath. "... I'll just be that weird guy who doesn't stop talking, even though it would be obvious to anyone that right now would be the appropriate time to do that... and yes... I'm cutting myself off now. Coffee?"
Kay gave a sheepish smile to the brunette and nodded her head. “Yeah, sorry I was late, I just…” she said, letting out a breathy laugh as her cheeks flushed a faint shade of pink. “You ever have those days where you just sleep straight through your alarm? That was me this morning.”
"Well if there's anything my mother's taught me, besides how to put on lipstick with just your cleavage, it's that a lady is never late." He smiled, holding out his hand to take hers, offering a sideways grin.
Alexandra shook her head slightly,” I know exactly what you meant to say, so relax..just breath.”The brunette said with a sweet smile on her lips. She wasn’t used to guys to get shy around her,” Nice to meet you, I’m Alexandra Russo but people calls me Alex.” She introduced herself shaking hands with Chandler.”Why do you get so nervous around me? is not like I bite or anything.”
"Well not hard anyway, right?" He chuckled to himself. "I mean, that's what people usually say... after they say they don't bite." He laughed at himself again, nerves clearly showing. "I don't know why I'm nervous, usually beautiful women walk away by this point."
He let out another small laugh. “No. Besides, I like bothering people like you.”
"Isn't there something more productive you could be doing besides laughing at an old guy like me? I mean, go overdose on sugar or something." He laughed slightly, pointing at the donuts.
At work right now. Replies are coming when I get home. :)
"Hi, sorry... I think I'm supposed to be meeting with you?"
"Hi. Do you come here often?"… "What’s your major?"…
-struggles with himself slightly before sighing-
"What do I have to say to make you not walk away right now?"
-looks at him wide eyed-
"Um…I don’t know? I-I’m not very good at this…sort of thing."
"Not good at getting hit on by strangers?" He laughed to himself. "Is anyone really good at that?" He laughed again, a bit nervously. "I mean, I just admitted I'm hitting on you, and for some reason I'm not walking away in shame yet."
"Hi. Do you come here often?"… "What’s your major?"…
-struggles with himself slightly before sighing-
"What do I have to say to make you not walk away right now?"
Jolie stared at him like a deer caught in headlights. “Just stop being so— nervous. I assure you I can be nervous enough for the both of us.”
"Oh trust me, I think I've got you beat!" A warm grin spread across his lips. "I mean, who wouldn't be nervous trying to talk to you?"
"Hi. Do you come here often?"… "What’s your major?"…
-struggles with himself slightly before sighing-
"What do I have to say to make you not walk away right now?"
"An introduction would suffice."
"Uh wow. That works, too." A dopey grin spread across his face as his eyes met hers. "Chandler. Chandler Bing." He pointed to her as though to silently ask for her name as well.
"Hi. Do you come here often?"… "What’s your major?"…
-struggles with himself slightly before sighing-
"What do I have to say to make you not walk away right now?"
"I-I..Wait what?" She replies trying hard not to laugh. Alex was obviously a student there, of course she was there often. The brunette look down at her books and glanced back up,"Well, I have a free period and you could always invite me to get some lunch." She smiled at him," But that’s totally up to you."
"Well, that was easy!" He lets out an awkward laugh before cutting himself off in the middle of his chuckle, his hands going up in slight defense. "Not implying that you're easy!... because that's not what I..." He sighs, shaking his head at himself before holding out his hand to hers, blurting out his introduction. "I'm Chandler. Chandler Bing."
-spills his coffee- “Oh come, on!”
The boy snickered. “Smooth move.”
"Don't you have like a designated adult around here somewhere, kid?" -looks around the coffeehouse at the varied crowd-
"Hi. Do you come here often?"... "What's your major?"...

"What do I have to say to make you not walk away right now?"
-spills his coffee- "Oh come, on!"
