I am super duper embarrassed of this photo. This is not me. This is an art piece that I was the base foundation of. The make up is beautiful, but know that it is a mask. My lips are colored to make them look more appealing. My eyebrows are photoshopped to be flawless, and yet the white background is peeling (at the top behind my head). Come on people! Pay attention to what you are doing! The saddest thing is that this is for a hair magazine, for young girls to look at and say, I want to be like that.... And rather than allow my light and natural beauty to shine, the world wants the standard of beauty to be everyone looking the same. Sure, I look hot as hell, but it is not me, it is a painting, it is plastic, unreal. It is a con to get you to pay lots of money to look like that. We are not robots. I hate unnatural light. I hate thick concealer, I want people to see my physical beauty shine because the attractiveness of my heart and my mind. If I want to wear a thick mask I will not wear it and pretend it is reality. I love make up, dressing up, accentuating my features, but I choose to break away from the flow of seeing women for their looks rather than their entire entity. I choose to feel beautiful each day because of love, not because of unhealthy standards.
