Tomorrow is Father’s Day again… 3rd year of celebrating this special day without papa. If you’re still with us, I’m sure we’ll go to church early in the morning and have breakfast in Mcdonald’s, you’ll have your coffee and pancakes, then maybe we’ll visit Daddy and mommy at Loyola and have lunch afterwards..
This is to tell every child to show your love to your father while he can feel it… Never waste an opportunity to throw your arms around your daddy’s neck, embrace him sooo tight and tell him “i love you”. Every child is never too old for it. :)
He was the very first man who loved me. It was a perfect love I felt. It was selfless. From the day I was born, up to his last breath, I know, in his heart, I’ll always be his only little LOVE.
Part of my childhood was having a playmate at home whom I call my PAPA. He spent most of his last 25 years being my playmate, my friend, my confidante, my FATHER. He gave me the best gift of having a HOME. A home that was complete.
I was his princess… I have always been his LOVE. As he used to tell me, God gave me to him so he could take care of me, love me, give me the best of everything that he can… Papa, you never failed…
I could say all beautiful things about him but my words will never be enough to describe how beautiful my life has been because of him. He made my life very meaningful. Each day we spent together fills the emptiness I feel now that he’s gone…
He gave me his whole heart and never asked for anything in return. He loved my child as much as he loved me. He loved my child like his own. I have broken his heart as many times I wouldn’t have known, but he was always there to support me, to pull me up and to continuously love me.

He taught me to be strong. He taught me to live life to the fullest. He taught me to stay positive even if everything seemed wrong.
God love me so much that he gave me this MAN, whom I called PAPA.
No matter how often I cry my heart out, the pain of losing him will never be gone… No one can ever replace our love.. The joy of being his daughter. The laughter we always had during meals. Those times when he’d pick me up from school and bring me to Jollibee. His pride whenever I did well in school. His voice telling me “I love you baby ko” which never changed even after 20 years.
At least, once in my lifetime, God gave me a MAN who never hurt me. A man who lived to truly LOVE me, someone who felt very thankful that he has me..
If only he’d hear me up there in heaven,..
To my PAPA, I miss saying PAPA..
I miss calling YOU, PAPA.
I miss talking to you…
I miss looking at you looking back at me and know I’m loved… I'm secured.
