one thing thats so important about tf2 is that all the women are just as insane and stupid as the men. youd think miss pauling is the level- headed voice of reason, but don't worry, she's neither level-headed or reasonable

Miss Pauling is among the most reasonable and intelligent characters in the setting, but in context those standards are set at “could hold a conversation with a normal person for a few minutes if pressed” and “knows how to read”.

There’s a voice line from the Gun Mettle update where she calls the player while doing a cave tour, and realizes shortly after initiating the call and only seconds before the other people on the cave tour discover a pile of dead bodies that they are, in fact, in a cave where she frequently goes to dump dead bodies.
