dark creed ;
msuxanderâ:
with @msujaehyun at the library
itâs not often that xander is found sitting at any bench on campus grounds. when he does find extra time in his schedule though, he enjoys situating himself in an area where he can observe others. of course, itâs always for his enjoyment as he either hexes random students who pass by or he reads their auras.
anyone who knows xander may find it odd that heâs chosen to study aurology alongside potions amongst all the choices mokseong offers. however, itâs served him well in being able to distinguish dark auras from light ones whenever needed especially when aiding his father to identify any dark wizards. of course, the auras at mokseong that he reads are never as intense or the same as an actual dark wizard. there are, however, exceptions every now and then when a student is under great distress, incredibly upset or something heavy weighing on their mind changes their aura. this seems to be the case for a particular student xander happens to read as he passes by.
the studentâs aura is completely different from the ones xander is accustomed to seeing on mokseong grounds though. itâs a bit dark but⌠thereâs something familiar. thereâs no questioning that his aura is tinged with the same darkness that xander has seen countless of times from dark wizards. itâs not incredibly strong, but itâs there and itâs all it takes to make xander follow the unsuspecting male.
the entire time that xander follows the male student, his aura seems to maintain itâs dark energy which is a slight surprise to xander as auras tend to change as a personâs thoughts and intentions change. so he knows, the male must have something set in mind and before long theyâve reached the outside of the library. with his curiosity peaked, xander continues to follow the student in, keeping a safe distance behind.
thereâs a routine that bell follows. not a strict one, he doesnât like to schedule everything down to the second, that sounds more like something his brother would do. however, there are a few activitiesâif they could be called thatâhe always completes within his days. one of them is resting under a tree, silently enjoying the breeze and eventually slipping into a slumber. the other is racking up every book he can find in the library to track down the group who tore his family apart.
fundamentally, those are two vastly different activities, but he never fails to do one or the other before night falls. he stifles a yawn as he heads towards the library with the same goal in mind. classes have been rather boring, not at all helping with his heavy eye lids. heâs much more awake now, stretching his legs as he walks. he has to be more alert when heâs researching anyway, otherwise heâll miss important information. bell wouldnât forgive himself if something significant flew over his head simply because heâs too tired to process whatever heâs reading, but that shouldnâtâit wonât happen.
it may not seem like it, what with the way bell seems disinterested in most things, but heâs determined. even if itâs a path he has to walk alone.
he doesnât hesitate in his steps, already familiar with the rows of books and the placement of each, having visited the library so many times throughout his time in mokseong. thereâs a particular book heâs eager to find, although he isnât surprised to find it isnât within mokseongâs walls. so, like any other day, he picks up one that isnât restrictedâthe rise and fall of the dark arts.
the presence that follows him doesnât go unnoticed, but it doesnât bother him either. bell doesnât even bother looking up at whoever it is, opening the book up, eyes focused on it as he speaks. âneed something?â
