Infectious London-based indie rock outfit the Vaccines formed in the late 2000s around the talents of Justin Young (vocals, guitar), Arni Arnason (bass), Freddie Cowan (guitar), and Pete Robertson (drums). The quartet, which has drawn comparisons to everyone from Surfer Blood and the Drums to The Strokes and the Jesus and Mary and Chain, released its debut single, Post break-up Sex, on Columbia Records in February 2011, in anticipation of a full-length studio album  later in the year. That debut, What did you Expect from the Vaccines?, appeared in the UK that March, showing up on North American Shores two months later.

Released in 2012, Come of Age, the band’s sophomore outing, was produced by Ethan johns and recorded at ICP studios in Brussels, Belgium and the Distillery in Bath, England.

For their third studio album, the Vaccines opted for a change of pace: they travelled to America to record 2015′s English Graffiti with producer Dave Fridmann (who previously worked with the Flaming Lips and Mercury Rev), with experimental Hip-Hop producer Cole M. Greif-Neill also taking part in the sessions. English Graffiti appeared in late may 2015.

In January 2018, the band released the single I Can’t Quit in anticipation of the arrival of their fourth long-player, Combat Sports, which dropped later that March.

And now, with their self-titled debut "Black Honey" they're "playing the big-boys game" and getting ready to tip things apart again.

From the modulating auto-tune of "Bad Friends" - a hulking pop melody that sounds like a twisted hybrid that melts together chart bangers, and scuzzy, industrial, strangeness - to the rich strings that lace through Lana-Del-Rey nodding track "Blue Romance", "Black Honey", according to Milky Bar Kid-meets-Debbie Harry style vocalist Izzy B. Philips, is "a Frankestein's monster"

YVI sets aside ego, leaving nothing behind but pure , disarming honesty. YVI writes melancholic, though comforting storytelling songs about insecurity, doubt and grief. His voice and songs might sound like Damien Rice and Glen Hansard, whereas the band arrangements are inspired by the sound of Bon Iver and Elbow.

In 2015, YVI was chosen as the "best singer-songwriter of the Northern Netherlands", after which they supported Dutch acts such as Douwe Bob and Blaudzun. In 2017, YVI toured through Ireland, supporting the Irish band "Aslan". On June 8th 2018, YVI released their first single "Hometown" of their debut album "A Few Words Of Comfort", which will be released April 2019.

Mr Chan Hon Meng helms the stall, and wears a smile most of the time despite being tremendously busy. There were only 2 other helpers. So…be patient.

He said that if he prepared more than 150 chickens per day, the food would suffer from a drop in quality. After the awards, he has increased his output to 180 chickens, 30 more than usual.

Therefore, he would rather stick to his principles and preparation methods, and hope that customers can understand that waiting time might be longer than before.

The Theory of Everything tells the uphill struggle that world renowned genius Stephen Hawking went through when dealing with his, now, infamous disease and trying to maintain his relationship with his loving wife, Jane. The strengths of this film rely solely on Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones.
