national geographic appears to have stopped funding animal jam

so yeah, the national geographic logos that appear on the homepage and game play page have been removed. this could mean that nat geo has decided to stop funding animal jam. this is bad.

it looks like wild works, the company who runs animal jam, has been having money problems for a while now; during may reviews of wild works started popping up on their glassdoor, a site that hosts reviews of companies by employees, about the company having to fire half the workers.

with nat geo pulling away it’s funding, the site may not be able to stay open for much longer
