Warnings!: Jade Leech! fluff<3, Reader is NOT Yuu, Reader can be gn, Night Raven Rumours collection, English is NOT my first language + not proofread.
A/N: I’m trying something new? It’s called ‘Night Raven Rumours’, where the school paper club writes articles about characters and their reader. Oh btw, we can all thank @wifishifey for turning me into a Jade lover <3
🌊𓇼 ⋆。˚ 𓆝🪸
Rumour has it Jade Leech, vice of Octivanelle, is currently with someone? But who is this person? Find out with us, where we present to you, Volume 3 of Night Raven Rumours. Brought to you by the NRC student paper.
🌊𓇼 ⋆。˚ 𓆝🪸
Dearest students of NRC, rumour says that there is a new couple on campus? Starring none other than Octivanelle’s very own Jade Leech.
Now, Jade Leech. How would one describe such an eel? Asking around, a single description is simply impossible: humble to strangers, calculating to peers, and duplicitous to poor unfortunate souls who have gotten in his way (many of us are forever scarred). However, there is one more, rather unlikely exception to the picture—stressed greatly by his very own twin brother, childhood friend and closest of peers. Smitten. Absolutely and devastatingly so.
That’s right, fellow students of NRC! Rumour has it the Jade Leech, vice-Housewarden of Octivanelle and right hand man of Azul Ashengrotto, has fallen in love.
In the words of the Scarabia Housewarden, Kalim Al-Asim himself, one of Jade’s (self proclaimed) Best friends: “Jade? Oh, Jamil’s not very fond of him, ahaha! I think he’s a great guy, he seems to have a crush on (name)! Huh? No way, they’re dating?? THAT’S SO CUTE, I SHOULD THROW A PARTY TO CELEBRATE THEM!”
Later confirmed by Housewarden Rosehearts, it is revealed that the identity of the lucky(?) lover is our school’s very own (name) Schoenheit! Congratulations to the happy couple!
Following such joyous news, we went around collecting congratulations.
• Ace Trappola (Heartslabyul 1st year) : “(name)-senpai and Jade-senpai are dating!? Hey Deuce! Get over here!!”
• Deuce Spade (Heartslabyul 1st year) :
“What? THEY’RE DATING?!”
• Scarabia B-kun (Scarabia _ year) :
“Ugh, I found out a while ago when I caught them ###### and #### in an empty classroom during club hours… Leech glared at me so hard, I’m still fearing for my life.”
• Yuu (Ramshackle prefect) :
“…I’m sorry??? The (name)-senpai? Benevolent and beautiful (name)-senpai is dating Jade-senpai..? Oh, oh! That explains so much!”
• Azul Ashengrotto (Octavinelle Housewarden) :
“Yes, a truly joyous event… I have no qualms with their decision to be together, however Jade needs to stop leaving the mostro longue just to go see her during his shifts.”
• Floyd Leech (Octavinelle 2nd year) :
“Eh? Jade and (name)? I couldn’t care less… ah, but sometimes I just wanna squeeze the two of them so hard. Jade always has this weird look whenever he’s around (name)… it’s really gross. Not to mention how he keeps—“
• Vil Schoenheit (Pomefiore Housewarden) :
“I am aware of my little flower being with Jade, yes. He came to me asking permission to date her after all. Congratulations to the two of them, I suppose…”
There are many notes of celebration for the couple (Buy the Night Raven Rumours magazine: volume 3. For more!) and through it all there is one fact that seems to stand out to everyone around the couple: Jade Leech is hopelessly devoted to his (name). We wish the happy couple all the best!!

“Sevens!” You laugh out loud, hands crinkling the edges of the mini-magazine in your hands. “Jade, did you read the free copy of this month’s Night Raven Rumours? There’s a whole article about us!”
Jade’s chuckle resonates from his spot by his desk, where he works on another one of his terrariums. He peers up, allowing his gaze to trace over the way you sprawl across his bed—how charming you look. “Indeed, it is quite intriguing. That reminds me, my dear, would you like me to buy the full volume so you may read over all the other comments?”
“Oh, that would be wonderful! I heard Riddle was interviewed as well… what do you think he said? ‘(name) keeps Jade in check, so I must say my thanks’.” You jest half-heartedly, sitting up and placing the article on Jade’s bedside table. “Not so far from the truth, no?”
Your semi-accurate interpretation earns a grin from your boyfriend, who suddenly stalks up towards you before lowering his knees to the floor and pressing a chaste kiss to your nose. “Well, I’m more fascinated by the final statement about my love for you.”
You return the sentiment before he can pull away fully, redirecting his attention straight to your lips.
“Heh, I don’t believe it to be wrong at all.” You mutter out in between the kiss, hands caressing his jaw. “I know well that I am the apple of your eye.”
“Ufufu,” Jade smirks, lips meeting yours again in a fervour. His sharp teeth nibbling slightly at your bottom lip, tantalising you deeper into the kiss. “Certainly, you truly are, my dearest.”
I just had one of the most memorable nights of my entire life at a party!! It was prom themed and my friends and I dressed up in the most splendid fits 😁 Im a bit inspired to write a prom fic for twst now lolz

⊹ ࣪ ˖⏱ ୭˚. ᵎ
You were Riddle’s first love. He pins for you from a distance, yet never acts on his true feelings, until it’s too late.
⊹ ࣪ ˖⏱ ୭˚. ᵎ
Riddle can’t exactly pinpoint the day he started feeling this way about you. He remembers bumping into you on orientation day. He remembers the way his annoyance immediately dissipated and the forming words of criticism died on his tongue the moment you offered your hand to him.
Maybe it was then. ‘Love at first sight’ some would say—a concept he never truly believed in. But for you, just for you, he allowed himself to indulge. He believed it after he took control of Heartslabyul as Housewarden. He believed it when he cruelly collared those around him. He foolishly believed it right up until his overblot, and for a short while after.
It’s been a month or so since his Overblot. Riddle’s doing better… he supposes. He presents himself with greater leniency: he collars fewer people, he tries not to shout or glare. Riddle is doing his best and you’re proud of him. However, pride cannot diminish fear.
The healing boy slowly starts to notice the way you shy away from his gaze—from him. He notices the way you politely bow and walk off the moment he attempts to simply converse. He notices it all: the distance, the avoidance, and the scar across your left arm looking as if it were scratched by a giant, flying tree. Yet, despite all the signs, it is not your blatant avoidance that allows him the grace of an epiphany. No, he realises much too late.
It’s your birthday! As a much appreciated member of the Heartslabyul dorm, your friends and dorm mates throw a surprise birthday party! Trey bakes the sweets, Cater manages decorations, Yuu and Grim hand out the invitations, the Aduece duo manages to stay out of trouble, and Riddle? Riddle holds a clipboard, ticking off every complete task. The party raves on, with guests slowly piling in one by one. Riddle watches as you smile so brightly. He notes the way your lips part to let out a laugh, the way your cheeks round as you consume the cakes. Just about when he gathers the courage to speak with you, he watches as you sprint past the crowds of people and right into the arms of Kalim. Bright, energetic and confident Kalim.
The Scarabia Housewarden picks you up, lifting you into a twirl and placing a loving kiss to the corner of your lips as he embraces you.
Riddle is taken aback. You and… Kalim? Together? Like- dating??
After that day, Riddle grows colder. Not cruel nor tyrannical. Just colder. Regret slowly eating from within; it kills him. It kills him to feel this way, to feel trapped in his own sour despair. In the corridors and the classrooms, the way Kalim openly expresses his affection. The ruby-eyed boy seems to constantly have his hands on you—holding hands, hugging, kissing, cuddling. Bitterly, he hopes the relationship won’t last. He hopes you’ll one day, finally, look towards him and call his name with your loving voice. That you’ll smile, embrace and kiss him the way you do with Kalim.
But, as he stands in the vast sea of guests, wearing a neat suit and tie with an older, slightly more worn face, he forces himself to take everything in. Your beautiful smile as you ask him how he’s been, your slightly concerned gaze as he finds himself unable to answer, the way your eyes brighten as Kalim pulls you away toward the grand reception. To see you be so gleefully pulled away—it destroys him. His heart aches in unrequited desire, a permanent pit grounding itself in his stomach. He’ll never forgive himself, cause he was too little and far too late.
( yandere dating sim! twisted wonderland x reader ) part one. part two here
⊹₊˚‧︵‿₊୨ᰔ 𝐒𝐘𝐍𝐎𝐏𝐒𝐈𝐒. ୧₊‿︵‧˚₊⊹ 𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗬, you awake in the otome game ‘twisted hearts’ as a run-out-of-the-mill side character. no worries, the love interests are already after yuu. you just gotta stay out of it all, right?
It’s been quite a while since your transmigration, and honestly, things have been going smoothly. You always wake up in Scarabia, take a leisurely stroll through Main Street and watch Yuu — the protagonist of said Otome game — be flanked by a bickering yet endearing trio of Ace, Deuce and Grim. Their voices reverberate in your head as you take your classes, their efforts to subtly woo the Ramshackle Prefect simply background noise as you head to class, heedless yet aware all the same. It’s a little bland, but it’s no biggie. You have no friends, no social life, no nothing — but the ends justify the means, so you persist.
Uh-oh! Your plans go awry right in the midst of your semester when the headmage insists you all opt for joining a club. You want to lay low, but your grade depends on your extracurricular activities, so poor little you has to drag yourself out of your spot by a random, murky tree and comply. In the distance, you hear Yuu pick the basketball club, ever so happy with their ragtag bunch of companions.
As the twisted breeze whistles past your face, you find yourself at a stalemate: wavering between the clubs labeled film studies and mountain lovers; the only clubs having a single member. You vacillate between Vil and Jade; and from what you can remember, neither of them are much fun. Though it’s clear you don’t have to exert yourself over it much longer, because when a random boy bumps by you, ink blots and smudges out the ways of the mountains, already deciding your fate for you.
The meeting spot is somewhere behind somewhere, you keep your head down all the while, even as the silence flourishes into thickness, even as the man of your nightmares sits silently at the far end and grins that cathedral of sharp teeth, just shy of crushing your spirit.
“A member?” Suave as he is, you don’t miss the glister of disappointment in his eyes (expecting someone else, someone named Yuu). Jade is far prettier in person, but you don’t dwell on it for long. “How unexpected.”
He does not deign to ask your name, a reason for gratitude, and so your woebegone, mundane routine continues. You find his composed and charming exterior belies his passion for mushrooms beneath, and it becomes a habit of yours to put an end to him prating before he’s left unchecked forevermore. He rewards you with a cool chuckle, streaks of noctilucent teal slanting along with the tilt of his head. It’s all rehearsed, isn’t it? Jade, even when he acknowledges you, couldn’t be any more robotic.
“During my usual trek,” Jade explains, lashes dipping towards a pale cluster of such umbrella-shaped bodies. “I happened to come across these earlier. You’ll find they grow in peculiar places.”
“Everything here grows in peculiar places,” The forest scent floods your nose as you breathe in. “That’s kind of the brand.”
Jade’s smile does not falter. “How delightfully pragmatic.”
You reach out and poke one of the mushrooms. It yields under your finger, the texture oh-so real, even as it springs back. Vaguely recalling a bad ending recalling spores, you add: “Don’t eat that.”
“I hadn’t intended to,” he replies, and you don’t miss the flicker of surprise coursing through his mismatched gaze. If you didn’t know any better, you’d say the reaction was authentic. “Though I appreciate your concern.”
“It’s not concern,” You turn away, and Jade’s stare scorches the fabric of your clothes. Moisture-laden grass squelches beneath the accidentally aggressive tempo of your boots, and you hope he doesn’t store the sound away as emotion. “If you die, I have to find a new club.”
When your ears crane for the sound of his approaching footsteps, you get a soft chuckle in its stead.
“How reassuring. I shall endeavor to remain alive, then.”
And to think he still doesn’t know your name.
That’s how your days go, and that’s all they’ll be limited to. On Tuesday, you take a tour of Main Street again, and find the eel inexorably staring at the visage of the prefect, so vehemently absorbed in his thoughts as they chatter off to someone faceless. You move, and Jade does not, staying true to the script. You almost feel bad, until the bell rings and you’re forced to take another lesson of flight, listening to Vargas yammer and run his mouth. Strangely so, even the teacher is not privy to your name. How delightfully pragmatic. In turn, you find yourself foraking your duties to Jade’s mushroom lineage.
“Evading your club activities?” You flinch awake from your near nap, head lolling to the side. The familiar voice somehow chimes in even as you sink into the shadows. Jade must be passing by, you think, there’s no other reason he’d willingly approach you. “Dare I ask, are you perhaps displeased with me?”
“Nah.” You quirk a brow at him. Displeased? Of what? “Just needed a break.”
“Ah.” The corners of his lips unravel to reveal that pointy smile you hate. “That certainly eases my worries.”
Standing up, you shrug off your drowsiness. But just as you move — snip — your foot catches on the edge of the bench, and you’re sent headfirst into the ground.
“Careful,”
A firm hold seizes your arm. Bleary-eyed, you blink up at Jade in a daze, the sunlight pooling over the panes of his complexion. “I would hate for my only club member to injure themselves.”
“Your only club member would hate that too.”
A small incline of his head.
“How fortunate we are in our alignment.”
He releases you, the pressure ebbs away as his tall stature’s reduced to a tiny little speck in your vision.
On Wednesday, you willingly skip out on the club meeting and decide to hone your flight skills once more. You catch sight of the prefect sauntering off elsewhere, and trailing after them is one more anomaly. Surprisingly so, Jade does not approach you again, a confirmation that he had not indeed sought after you yesterday. It was more so a twist of fate, and you wonder if he’s already occupied in seeking the prefect out.
Nevertheless, you digress. You abide by your flight class regulations. Until, well... something bonks you over the head and you get a concussion.
“Ah—! Wait, wait, are you okay?!”
There’s a face above you now, bright and frantic and entirely too close. Sunlight halos his warm visage, and the red pools cast your own likeness back at you.
“I didn’t see you! You just kind of— appeared— no, that sounds like I’m blaming you, I’m not blaming you— are you hurt?!”
You blink once, wondering if you should offer formalities to your housewarden.
“…You hit me with a broom.”
“Yes! No— I mean— I did, but not on purpose!”
“…That doesn’t make it better.”
“I know!! I’m sorry!”
You soothe his worries, and he seems ever so desperate to call for Jamil and seek the aid of someone more well-versed in... well, whatever this is. He doesn’t know what to do, you tell yourself, and somehow, that’s how you find yourself back at Scarabia as Kalim accompanies you to the building, fussing over you and the growing bruise on your temple.
Kalim hands you tea, atypical of him even in the absence of his other companion. The padded seats have you all warm and comfortable, and soon enough, you find yourself lost in a one-sided conversation entirely (deprived of something as normal as this for a long, long time).
“You look kind of familiar,” He smiles and your shoulders loosen. “Have we met before?”
“You’re my housewarden.”
“Ohh! That’s why!” The touch of happiness is not scrubbed off his face, even at the tip of your bluntness. It’s a pretty smile, you think.
“Yup..”
“Yes!” He mimics. “I’m Kalim Al-Asim! Oh— wait, I should’ve started with that, sorry— what’s your name?”
You freeze.
A simple, harmless, entirely normal question, yet you find yourself prodding for its reason all the more.
“…Why?”
He blinks.
“Why…? Because I just hit you with a broom.”
“That’s not usually when people ask.”
“Well, I feel like I should know who I’m apologizing to! That’s just polite!”
For once, a smile graces your lips and you give him your name. He reciprocates your ... measly enthusiasm and invites you to a plethora of parties (forgetting you’re already a Scarabia resident)
Malleus Draconia x Fae!fem!reader (betrothed trope ya’ll, I am very original😀)
Warnings!: reader is NOT Yuu, reader is FEM, reader is Fae, related to the ‘Birdie and Bat’ world, Malleus is supposed to look around 6-8ish, English is not my first language + not proofread.
A/N: hahahahahha!!! 3 exams left guys! I’m almost free 😭 anyways have this little short story! Love you guys <3
‧˚꒰🐾୭ ˚. ᵎᵎ
(Part of ‘Birdie and Bat’)
Malleus truly loves his betrothed, you’ve had his heart ever since you’ve met.
‧˚꒰🐾୭ ˚. ᵎᵎ
It was an engagement, a decision made by old-minded senators and power-hungry nobles. Arranged and presented to his Grandmother with a sparkly bow on top. He was the mere age of 22 years when it was first announced and he was 78 years old when he first met you—his future bride.
Malleus stood still, arms stretched out as his caretaker, who happened to be a distant relative of his betrothed, fussed over him. “Honestly, that overly ambitious great-nephew of mine,”she muttered under her breath, hands occupied with soothing any creases upon the young draconian’s robes. “Remember, dearie, if you don’t like this arrangement, you can always reject the proposal, okay?”
He nodded attentively, emerald eyes tracing the feathers of his winged caretaker out of habit before trailing to the scar that decorated her face. “Godmother,” he so willingly called her, despite the protests from the loud senate. “Will she be as pretty as you?”
The halovian fae chuckled gleefully at the question, though before she could respond she was interrupted by a certain bat. “Khee hee hee, why of course she will, Malleus!”
“Lilia?” a joyful gasp erupted from the prince, as he felt a familiar pat on his head. “you’ve returned from your travels!”
The bat fae chuckled in response to Malleus’s reaction, leaning forward to press a loving peck to his wife’s cheek before speaking again.
“Indeed I have, my dear boy! And just in time to see you fall in love with your betrothed.” The fae eagerly turned to his wife, “Isn’t this just exciting, my birdie!”
Said wife lightly rolled her eyes, though the way her wings seemed flutter in hope seemed to betray her face of annoyance. She placed a soft kiss onto his lips as she prepped Malleus’ brooch, “Stop spewing nonsense, you timey bat.”
Turning to face the young prince, the woman knelt down and gently placed the emerald brooch onto the lapel of his waistcoat. “There, all done. You’re set and dashing, Malleus.”
‘Knock knock’
“Your highness, Lady Vanrouge, the guests have arrived.”
“Ah, perfect.” She stood up in one swift motion, taking the arm of her husband before facing the young prince once again. “C’mon Malleus, it’s time.”
The boy smiled, giving a curt nod before he allowed his eyes to meet Lilia’s. The bat fae simply grinned and offered a playful wink in response to the unsure gaze of the younger, “We’ll be right behind you, my boy.”
When Malleus walked into the tearoom he hadn’t expected much. Perhaps, that was why the moment he laid eyes on you, he was, quite frankly, starstruck.
The boy offered a bow, eyes still tracing every feature across your face. Not even realising the invasiveness until you suddenly folded your wings over your magnetising face, cheeks flushed a rosy-pink.
Malleus’s attention was solely on you for that entire teatime. He dismissed the overly sugarcoated greetings of your father with a light nod, entirely ignoring the way his usually gentle caretaker directed a hardened glare towards said fae. He ignored the way the sun began to tilt towards the west. Your presence was just so powerful, so magnetic. The way your wings fluttered in joy when he offered to pour you more tea, the way your eyes sparkled when he asked you about your hobbies, and most adoringly, the way you didn’t seem afraid of him—treating him as a friend rather than a pedestal prince.
Later, when Lilia asked him about the meeting with you, Malleus couldn’t help but smile, his rounded cheeks lighting up in a soft pink. “She has the most beautiful smile, Lilia!”

Pt.1 Pt.2 Pt.3 Pt.4 (you’re here!)
To the boys the two of you were their greatest supporters: To Silver parents, to Sebek mentors, and to Malleus guardians.
ִֶָ𓂃 ࣪˖ ִִֶֶָ🥀་༘࿐
‘I’m going to get hit..!’
“ugh..STOP..!!!” “SILVER!!”
That utter look of disparity and despair on his parents’ face… Silver has seen that look before, it was when he had found out he wasn’t his mother and father’s ‘real’ son.
“Silver!! What have I done— where are you, Silver??” He could hear his mother call out to him over the aggressive patter of the rain, fear evident in the usually loving voice.
“He must be here somewhere… Answer me, Silver!” He could hear his father’s voice, stability replaced by panic.
They were looking for him? Why? He wasn’t their real son. The rain was getting heavier and his vision started to blur, the last thing he heard before losing conscious was the distressed gasp his mother released when she finally found him.
When Silver awoke again, he was back at the cottage. Groggily, he looked about, eyes caught onto the stool beside his bed and the slightly ajar door. Regaining greater focus, he crawled out of his bed with a plushie in hand, stood behind the door and focused on the sounds coming from beyond the door. Immediately, he recognised… weeping?
“Poor Silver! This is all my fault… what have I done, Lilia?!” ‘Mother’s weeping..?’
“Birdie, this isn’t your fault…” His father seemed to reason, using that endearing nickname for his mother. “It’s mine, I left things vague on purpose. Convicing you he’d already found out, ages ago…”
His father’s voice cracked, “I simply didn't have the courage to tell him the truth and see the sad look on his face... I’m so sorry.”
Silver didn’t understand… he’s not their ‘real son’, why would his parents feel guilt? Why are they… worried?
In the midst of his turmoil, the young boy accidentally dropped his bat plush onto the floor. Causing the bell around its neck to ring aloud.
The sudden noise did not escape his fae parents’ ears, both turning simultaneously to face his bedroom door. He attempted to stay hidden, using the door as his shield but he was taken aback when his mother called out to him, her footsteps growing louder as she approached the door. “Silver? Are you awake, dearie?”
The boy peered his head out from the crack of the door, arms tightly wrapped around his plush. He wept, “…I’m sorry, mama. Papa.”
“Oh, my sweet boy.” His mother lowered herself and opened her arms, her wings fluttered as Silver immediately buried his face into the crook of her neck. She brought her hand up and gently caressed his silver hair. “There is no need for you to apologise. We should have told you earlier… Mama is so sorry, dove.”
“Papa is also very sorry, Silver.” His father added, now knelt down beside his mother and rubbing soothing circles around Silver’s back. After a moment or two, he rose to his feet and hoisted Silver up in the process. Holding the boy against his hip, the father pressed a loving kiss to the son’s cheek, “You must understand this though, Silver. Mama and Papa love you so so sooo much.”
His mother nodded along, pressing a soft kiss onto his other cheek. “You mustn’t ever forget that, promise?”
Basked in the love and affection of his parents, Silver couldn’t help but giggle. “hehehe, I promise!”
ִֶָ𓂃 ࣪˖ ִִֶֶָ🥀་༘࿐
“Oh, no. No! Nononono….”
What happened?
W-where did his father come from?? Where did his mother come from??? Why are the two of you HERE!? No, importantly. Why did you protect him?!
From the distance, Yuu and grim rush over, gravel and debris coating their features. Their steps come to a sudden halt at the sight before them: two still bodies and two grieving boys huddled over them.
“…mother? F-father..?”
The silver-haired boy is calling out, despair clinging to his exhausted body. His nose crinkles at the sick, metallic scent of the vermillion liquid as his hands shakily cling to your still form, eyes desperately flicking between you and Lilia in denial.
Situated beside Silver is Sebek. The green-haired boy rests his hand on Silver’s shoulder, the other grasping his mentor’s cold hand.
Silver’s tear-filled eyes meet the terrified ones beside him, catching how the green pupils shake violently.
“..s-Sebek…”
The younger can’t bring himself to hold the eye contact, head bowing down to hide the flooding tears.
Silver does the same, closing his eyes shut as if doing so will reverse the deaths of his parents.
His voice cracking as he shouts out in disbelief. “W-why?! Why would you protect me... Father! Mother!” With his consuming grief, the boy misses the way his silver-gilded hair twinkles into a golden shine.
“M-Mrah?!” Grim lets out a yelp, gaining the attention of those around him. “Silver, y-your hair!”
“Huh? My hair?” The boy starts, eyes trailing to glance at the messy strands framing his face. I-it’s golden..? No. No! The blessing— your blessings!
Sebek silently cries, tears falling to the earth and dampening the dusty ground. Lilia and you were his mentors. While Lilia taught him how to wield a sword and survive, you taught him how to care and protect. Lilia was an inspiration to look up to, you were a pillar to lean on. Despite different teachings, the two of you were both welcoming and warm. He remembers the first time he got scolded by the two of you—it was during his usual training with Silver.
Wooden swords clacked against each other in a steady rhythm; Sebek had been under the weather yet still persisted on showing up to his training. He was holding up fine, until he fainted onto Silver. Wooden swords clacked onto the ground as Sebek’s fever suddenly began to run high. When he regained consciousness, he was inside, perched up against the sofa in the living room. He perks as he catches sight of you, tray of food in your hands.
“Sebek,” you began, placing the tray down onto the side table. “Why didn’t you tell us you were not feeling well, dearie?”
The green-haired boy panicked, fearing he’d be scolded for being sick, he hastily opened his mouth to respond, but he was cut off by a spoon full of soup. “You really worried us you know, next time, do tell us you are ill.”
Sebek swallowed the delicious soup, welcoming the next spoonful before responding, voice a little raspy, “But, I didn’t want to skip training. A knight must always be prepared!”
“Of course that is true. But Sebek, a knight must also be well-rested. If you faint like you did today on the battlefield, you could get seriously injured, understand?”
At your words Sebek turned red, embarrassed by his inability to recognise what you had just pointed out by himself. “I-I am sorry. For causing you such worry, Lady Y/n… Next time, I’ll be sure to inform you.”
“Wonderful!” You chirp bringing another spoonful to his mouth, “ahhh~”
“ahh— wait! This is improper, my lady! I can feed myself…”
ִֶָ𓂃 ࣪˖ ִִֶֶָ🥀་༘࿐
To Malleus, you and Lilia were the parents he never got to meet. The two of you are all he’s ever known to be parents: the two of you hatched him, played with him, taught him and first and foremost, loved him for who he was. Not the great Draconian heir, not the blessed crown prince of Briar Valley, but just Malleus.
Even when he lashed out, made your ears bleed, burnt you with his flames and froze over Castle Blackscale, the two of you continued to stay beside him. Not out of obligation, not out of fear, but out of love and affection.
He can still remember the time he visited your cottage in the forest; he wanted to learn how to waltz…
The sounds of giggles erupted from the quaint cottage, the feel of joy bouncing off every wall.
“There you go, Malleus!” You exclaimed, guiding him through the steps. “You are a a natural, dear.”
The younger fae smiled at the compliment, gaining more confidence in his steps. “Khee hee hee, look at our darling prince go, birdie! So charming!” Lilia cackled from his position by the gramophone, choosing the next song to play. “Oh? What if we try a more upbeat song?” He suggested, already placing a classic Briar pub tune onto the device.
Malleus remembers all the laughing, the cheers, the drinking song they taught him that day… It felt, exhilarating. He felt as if he was just a fae boy—not a prince, not some higher being—, a boy having fun with those he cares most about.
ִֶָ𓂃 ࣪˖ ִִֶֶָ🥀་༘࿐
“Gh... Where am I?”
The dragon fae awakes with a broken horn and a confused mind. “What happened..?”
His emerald eyes scan the area of destruction, stuttering at the group huddling just a distance from him. They’re crying..? Yuu is crying. Sebek is silently sobbing. Silver is… wailing?
His pupils widen in horror as his eyes trail to the two lifeless bodies lying on the ground, resting between his two sobbing retainers.
“…”
“Is that…?”
Despite being wounded, he sprints, wobbly legs carrying him to the vile scent of congealing blood. Malleus’s footsteps begin to slow down as he is finally able to confirm the identity of the two lifeless bodies. Their chests? Lacking any regular movement. Their cheeks? Ashy and pasty. Their limbs? Hanging limp, like puppets with cut strings.
He drops to his knees to the right of Silver.
Your wings? Tainted with a jarring stain of dried up blood, matting your delicate feathers into a petrifying clump. Lilia’s hair? Dull and dirty, ends burnt by Malleus’s own great flames.
“L..Lilia? Y/n..?”
A sob rips from his throat as the crushing weight of despair falls upon him. “No, this can’t be... I did this...?”
What has he done? No. No! No!! This. This isn’t what he wanted to do. Wake up! Why won’t the two of you wake up?!
“How did it come to this?! Aaagh...!”
He was just lonely. He just wanted to stay together, forever. He just wanted to keep his family. He just wanted Silver to be happy… He’s a monster!
“AAAAAAH!”
The now golden-haired boy looks up to the wailing prince beside him, tears blurring his vision. “Malleus-sama….”
To Silver’s surprise, Malleus pulls the younger into his arms. Wailing in despair the dragon apologises, “I-I’m so s-sorry, Silver!! It’s all my fault!!!”
Silver can’t help but cry louder in the comforting arms of his brother prince, tears over flowing from his eyes and running down his cheeks. “m-malleus…sama..”
“Mother, Father...Please, I’ll do anything. I’ll give up my lifespan, my wings, whatever it requires!” The dragon fae attempts to bargain to whatever higher power is listening, fear and anguish dripping from every waver in his words.
“Just, I beg of you, please don’t take Lilia and Y/n with you...! Auughhhhh!!”
Wait… so we know how in the FaT!Au its established that both Epel and his reader are actors. Imagine, horror/thriller/action movie. Or I’ll just make a freaking mafia au👍
I kind of imagine Epel to have grown taller maybe 175cmish (he’s just a late bloomer guys🥺) so like, attractive, highly skilled combat fighter and his super gorgeous, good with guns love…
the fans and reader absolutely adore it. Epel himself surprised how good he looks as a badass fighter in a suit, covered in soot and dried blood.
I’m a strong believer that Epel is really good with an axe/knife, 1000/10 aim, so sexy axe thrower or smth. And he helps celebrity!reader and photos of them practicing get out and go viral. I just love celebrity couple stuff🥹
You know… if only there was a writer who could do this idea……..hmmmm. I wonder 👀 (I mean you guys seemed to really like the Epel fic I wrote a while back)
