Hi! I have a new permanent blogsite. I will no longer be posting here at tumblr. You can reach me through my new site. hitchhikerpaw.com
Thank you.
Me and me and me. My travels for the year 2014. Looking forward to 2015 trips. Happy new year! Early greetings are not overrated. Haha. I suggest you do the same fellow hitchhikers! :D #travel #morefuninthephilippines #caramoan #davao #palawan
The sky was cloudy, yet the sun keeps on glancing behind. The air was kind of warm, so generally, it was a hot ride to the main islands. From Naga city, a 2 hour van ride is expected, get down the van and another 2 hour ride along the waves. We arrived at almost noon after a 45 minute tricycle ride at our accommodation and started eating fast, too much time is wasted so we went on straight to our boat (which first, it started raining and we waited minutes before it arrives). The waves are…well, wavy. But, it was great, first island hopping with friends and the fun is just getting started.
Heavy rain continued to pour down on the white sands as we traveled and made our first island unforgettable. Thank goodness, the rain stopped as we approached the second island. There was a high cliff, and on the other side is a small lagoon with some superstitious do-not-disturb-the-habitat creatures. We climbed and saw the small greenish clear water with small fishes in it. Took some selfies and climbed down with great effort.
We went inside a small tunnel cave on another island which brought on the other side mostly just shutterbugging. And the same went on this last island with the dirtiest shore with I think from the rest. We went back to the main island and do our thing. Wash ourselves, eat, and talk about the first day.
We woke up and prepared for another island hopping day, but I think this time it was more amazing, our first stop was at this huge sandbar. The water and the sand was so good, the food was tasty, the people were accommodating, one thing which surprised and made us enjoy more was the number of other tourists, very few. We felt like we rented the island from our first day up to this day. But, there were some problems with our boat, the tide was low that we had to stop the motor (the boat guys had to stop the motor) plenty of times and let them walk on the sea urchin abundant waters and push the boat to the deeper areas. There we were on another island, but this time there were many people, we didn’t expect this much people so we went off early. We looked for a place to snorkel and experience the first ever panic moments of our travel, sea snakes. It was scary but no one was harmed. We laughed and move on. The night was full of memorable chats and so, another day was owned.
The last day was the time-to-go day. Nothing happened much. Sailed our way back to the city after a long ride pit stopping at souvenir shops and visiting the red bricked church at the main town of Caramoan. And there. Finally went gome after the 8 hour bus ride to manila.
If you want to know some other details about our tour, like how much did we spend etc. Just ask me. J I’m always online, mostly on facebook. www.facebook.com/pawtony
Good night naughty selfie! More fun with people you know will always understand you.
The final day sums up all the thrilling adventure. Bat cave experience at #SamalIsland. Got lucky with this stray bat hanging around the fences.
Posting a food like this doesn't always mean that you actually liked what you've eaten. This one is too oily, wasn't able to finish it. Shining shimmering grease. Haha. I won't take pasta again at #banapple. Nope.
Twirling the sunset at #MorongBeach #Bataan. The sea is fair. The shore is fine. The sun is elegant.
