Okay I forgot what episode this was but I remember Eda saying “Belos has been Emperor for 50 years.” And this got me thinking

Of course this can be taken as “Belos has been in power for 50 years” but I’m gonna take it from the sense of he’s aging slower in the Boiling Isles. If Belos is from the 1600’s then does time move slower in the Boiling Isles?

We can assume that the gang has been in the human realm for a while judging by appearance (everyone’s hair growing out and whatnot)

So imagine when the kids run up to their families and they’re like “We’ve been waiting MONTHS to come back”

And everyone on the Isles like “kids it’s been a week chill out”

Maybe 'Why Don't You Stay' is more about Kim asking himself why he didn't fight for a relationship that was so clearly making him better. He's saying out loud that Chay did nothing wrong, that being with Chay was the first time Kim felt like he had a purpose and a home. He's admitting to himself that love was actually what he wanted and then he's asking himself why he left anyway when every bone in his body was screaming at him to stay.

I just realised that Kim only discovers that picture on his guitar in episode 13.

Are they telling met that Kim hasn’t been able to look at this guitar long enough to realise there’s a picture there?

That he hasn’t been able to pick up that specific guitar since Chay was kidnapped, is that what you’re telling me?

Like actually insane about this. I’m a musician and the only times I haven’t been able to touch my instrument or play is when I couldn’t find joy or peace in it. Maybe he played on a different one but that would mean that specific guitar reminds him of chay. Okay im not thinking that maybe chay played on his guitar and now he can’t look at it without thinking about Chay.
