I felt a tooth. Can't see it yet but most definetly felt it.
It's about bloomin' time.
Also, j had nspcc and childline people in to give a talk at school. Fantastic and good and everything but now she's incredibly sad for all the kids that need them and can't stop bringing it up because things like that just stick in her head for days. Poor girl.
I move house this weekend and I'm mildly freaking out.
I feel like I've done nothing but pack for the last 2 weeks and yet I don't even feel close to being done.

It's 2am and baby boy is showing no signs of sleep just yet so I may as well update.
Danny: is now 7 months old. Can sit up if put in that position but can't quite get in to position himself yet. Can kneel and will try and stand if he has something to hold onto, has been caught doing this in his bed and caught climbing parents. Still army crawling rather than going on his knees. Tried blw, he loved it, I had panic attacks is now eating slightly lumpy puree's to save me stress. Babbles like mad, loves to blow raspberries and will try to eat your chin if you ask him to give loves. Adores Jamie-Lou. Has a Drs appointment tomorrow as he keeps scratching at his ear.
Jamie-Lou: a lot more confident as a big sister now. Will actively play with him and encourage him in trying things. Best at making him laugh. Doing brilliantly at school. Has really improved with her eating, especially fruit. Still has ridiculously long hair. Is forever writing stories and songs. Is currently being extremely good about that fact that I've asked her to do a giant clear out.
Me: forever tired and struggling with my anxiety. Must make a Drs appointment to deal with it. Currently in charge of packing an entire house almost entirely alone while looking after baby boy. Moving house is exhausting but it will be so worth it as the new place is gorgeous. Going back to work. Because I'm not busy enough. Determined to get my teaching assistant nvq set up by the end of the month. Need a hair cut and my nails done. And a full nights sleep.
Boyfriend: on the fast track at work it seems. Been given lots of new responsibility. Super proud.
We move in 11 days and go on holiday in less than 80. Must get Danny a passport.
Baby boy is rolling over onto his front in his sleep.
Nope, absolutely not. Not ready for that.
Apparently I'm staying awake all night to turn him back every time.

Literally just finished putting his nappy cream on, milliseconds away from putting the nappy up and this boy wee'd on his own face.

Going to bed on an empty stomach because I'm not cooking/eating at this time of night. I'll be sick.
I have told him but it didn't sort it. I just got a half apology and a plea to not be moody.
It's nothing really. I'm just pissed off about it.
Young voices school choir, resorts world arena.
Never managed to find her in the crowd but it was fantastic knowing she was part of such a huge event.
Getting him dressed is a whole new ball game now he's discovered moving.

Almost 6 months old.
Army crawling and getting absolutely everywhere.
Semi nap strike during the day.
Forever teething but still no teeth.
If you sit him up he can stay there for a bit but can't yet sit up himself or stay up for long.
Loves to hit things and makes noise.
Tells me he's hungry by smacking my chest.
Grab faces and tries to eat them.
Is fascinated by the cats.

Just took part in a concert with the world's largest school choir. She sang at the same arena as little mix and is on cloud 9 about it.
Is almost ready for her first thai boxing grading.
Has gotten much better with processing her emotions and not freaking out at school, not so good at home. But progress
Is doing great with her eating.
Is reading at a secondary school level.
Has very kindly given boyfriend one of her cuddlys so that all 4 of us now own a cuddly thumper.

There's a hole in my ceiling. It's getting fixed this week.
Are looking for a new house to rent as there is not anywhere near enough space here.
Are still discussing the possibility of another baby in the future. I say yes, he got scared by the emergency c-section, extra time in hospital and brief baby blues.
My grandad is terminal but still fighting, my grandma has dementia. I'm trying not to think about it too much but...
Me and my bestie share more romance and affection with each other via text and phone calls than either of us share with our boyfriends.
Like don't get me wrong, we both adore our boys. But she's my bestie. Therefore she gets all the love.
Quick question...
Do babies often suddenly and inexplicably change their preferred feeding position?
All of a sudden Danny gets really angry with me if I try and hold him across my body to feed. I've tried holding him a bit more upright and the rugby hold to varying degrees of success but I'm not very good at those holds as I've not used them before and he just won't stay still so I'm worried about hurting him.
He's struggling to feed as much as usual because of this though he seems perfectly happy so I'm not too worried about him being hungry.
But yeah, any advice on positions for feeding or why he's suddenly decided he doesn't like the one we've been using all almost 17 weeks of his life.....?
Made it to school on time. Only just.
It was quite cute.... I didn't have time for breakfast but was starving so j went and got some of her biscuits and was feeding them too me while I got Danny ready.
Aha, ooops.
We missed the alarm and slept in an extra hour. Running hella late now.
Boyfriend already rushed off, me and big kid dresses, my hair done, both kids currently eating breakfast.
Little kid needs to get dressed and big kid needs her hair done. Plus teeth for me and big kid, plus pram and bags got ready, coats etc on.
15 minutes left until we need to be put of the house. My breakfast shall have to wait until we get back.

When feeding while sleepy Danny likes to stroke my chest with his hand. He'll also reach up for my face.
When vaguely hungry but not yet bothered about eating he'll headbutt my chest with his mouth open and laugh at me.
When finished eating, whether sleepy or not, he'll look up at me, giggle and then bury his head in my boob, laughing.
He'll lie down when he's in a good mood and sing and wriggle.
Jamie keeps drawing adorable pictures of everyone in dream jobs and they're so sweet.
She's learned all the words to the song we use as Danny's lullaby and sings it to him constantly.
She's forever cuddling and kissing everyone lately. She's never been huge and that sort of show of affection so yay.
Dance parties are her current favourite thing.
She tells Danny everything she's learnt at school.
She's trying to learn how to use her Daddy's dj decks so they can make mixes together.
She's trying to learn chess too.
All of this is to help remind me things are ok because my anxiety has suddenly rocketed sky high and I don't know why but I'm full of nervous anxious energy and that used to lead to self harm so I'm a little bit of a mess and trying to concentrate on just about anything else.
Boyfriend is such a baby when he’s not feeling great. It’s both hilarious and bloody annoying.
He over indulged in the gin last night and now he regrets it. He’s been complaining about being hungry, literally all afternoon. I’ve offered to make him something, go out and get him something or order something for delivery.
He spent 3 hours looking at pictures of the various things he wanted. All of which he could have had, easily, had he chosen one of the options I gave him.
But instead he looked at pictures.
He’s now ordered something and is complaining about how long it’s taking. He ordered it less than 15 minutes ago.
Please save me from the giant manbaby. He’s adorable and lovely but if I here the words “I’m hungry” one more time in a tone of voice that could put any whinging 4yr old to shame…..well, I shan’t be held accountable for my actions. 🤣🙄🙄
His food has arrived and I couldn't be happier.
