I want to walk when you walked

And stop when you stopped.

I want to love what you loved

And abstain when you did.

Give a portion of what you gave

And to love the people the way you did -

Worship with a ounce of your devotion

And follow Allah

With an atoms weight

Of your submission.

To love you more than I love myself

To see you before I see myself.

To have a heart filled with nothing but God

Overflowing with love of you

Tears leaking as I seek you

Until the day I see you -

Is my prayer

Now
