Hello, you probably get this alot. What do you use for the black outlines used for your sims in your posts?
hi, it’s achieved through shaders.
I use G-shade. Once you get a shader you like, you can go into settings and mess around until you get what you want. the black outline comes from a setting called “comic”, I believe?

Personal favorite: the moth relief from Life & Death still on the bottom of the last chair. Worst effort: the book we've always had, but now with clutter.

No, that's not the same object. They added tassels or removed a basket. No one will even notice!
...At least the Tea Time pack is cute. Even if it feels like a bribe to not point this stuff out. Someone clearly tried on that--they tried less here.
Real talk: it's not everything, and some of the new stuff is okay. Most of it is mid. I thought there were only 2-3 cloned items, so I started collecting them to compare, for my own amusement. Then they just kept multiplying. The audacity on some of these is just…what I'm saying is, unless you want the gameplay, maybe wait for a sale.
To be clear: recycling isn't new, we know they do that. This is just the most I've seen them do it, let alone in an EP. More than the Frankenmeshing itself, my concern is what it might mean. It lends credibility to the murmurs that EA is forcing the Sims team to cut corners to save on cost. They still want our money, but they want it with less effort. Which has to suck for the Sims team, who seem to care about the game.
To give credit where due, the things that are new in this pack are a gradient, but some of it is really cool. The swords are a highlight, and all of the Africana stuff is solid. We got more statues. The world is beautiful, and the Dynasty system looks fun. I just would've liked to see more of that for $40.
Like, EA, if you want money, let the Sims team do their jobs. Twisting their arms to pump out sub-par content isn't doing anyone a favor. It's just pissing off the people you're trying to pry those Simoleons out of.

What is this blog?
Well, to put it shortly, we're a group of people trying to make a tool for simmers to use in order to avoid or just remain aware of any content put out into the community that may have use of AI in any way! (We're not sure if this blog will remain under this name, just an fyi)
How does it work?
You send us asks if you believe and/or have suspicions that a creator or user has made or is currently making use of AI for their content! (proof is appreciated, but we'll provide them in our posts, so no need to worry about that part!) When asks are sent, we make thorough research and respond with our finds to ensure we provide proper information. WE ARE HUMAN, meaning we are prone to mistake, so if you believe we may have poorly judged or missed something in our research, please let us know! We will make the edits or fixes necessary!
(asks can be sent anonymously, we understand you may not want to be put on the spotlight or traced down when bringing up certain creators).
Why are you doing this?
We believe simmers are allowed transparency for the content they consume or download now that generative AI has made its way into the community, whether that be from creators who are open about it, or trying to pass it swiftly without notice. GenAI specifically holds a multitude of problems, but we'll keep it brief with these articles. We highly suggest doing your own further research. Nourish that brain a little! 💙
