So, I just watched 'Herogasm' and..

I feel like Hughie's arc in S3 isnt about toxic masculinity.

His problem isnt that he cant handle being saved by a girl, its that he cant handle his loved ones facing danger in a way he cant. He cant handle the fact that he cant repay the favour, that he is useless compared to everyone, that he is the damsel in distress all the damn time. And he is tired of it.

He didnt have a choice before, but with V24? He doesnt have to be.

So, uh I realised that ron's brain scars isnt mentioned much after the 5th book. And they arent used much in fanfics, either. Which is a shame, cause there are so many possibilities. Here is my weird list of ideas. Warning, whump.

-> The scars are possesed by the brain. Now there are ghost/s only ron can see or hear.

Option a: The ghost/s are awful. Maybe they want ron to hurt himself or something. They have ways to get what they want.

Option b: The ghost/s are cool. Maybe they teach ron new stuff no one knows, or maybe they protect him. ( could be a really cool bamf!ron story.)

-> the scars are cursed. Ron is acting weird and everyone has to figure out why. (Maybe bill doing his cool curse-breaker stuff?)

-> the scars are linked with ron's own mind. They start bleeding everytime ron thinks something bad about himself. Obviously, Ron tries to hide it.

Option a: his friends/family notice this. They talk. Do they question why he wanted to hide this? And, since now everyone knows when ron is being insecure, what will happen? (hurt/comfort)

Option b: Ron is being very obvious, and yet no one notices. Maybe he isnt important enough for them to do so. (hurt no comfort)

Option c: no one notices until while ron is arguing with person A he suddenly collapses and his sleeves start to turn red (hurt/comfort, propably)

->The scars open up whenever ron uses his arms too much. This is very painful, but he tries to not show it. His friends/family arent having any of it. (hurt/comfort or whump)

->The scars require painful medical treatment. Luckily, his close ones will help him get through. (good old medical whump)

->Ron was supposed to tend to his wounds after leaving hospital wing. He didnt because the process was too painful and/or scary. And now, the scars got worse but he cant even think about treatment because he is terrified of the process. His friends/family find out. (whump)

Possible options: Maybe they have to force him to get help, or hold him down because he is too frightened to ever agree. ("forced medical procedures", "for their own good", "hold them down" prompts for whump)

-> Ron's scars need to be tended for after he leaves the hospital wing but he cant do it on his own. He doesnt want to ask for help from person A but has to. (hurt/comfort, could be turned to whump)

-> Ron thinks his scars are stupid, but his brothers disagree. (weasley brothers fluff)

Can you tell I like whump? Anyways, if anyone knows any fics that includes something like these, could you send me the link?

(also I'd be delighted if anyone wanted to use these as long as they, y'know, credited me. Prob's will never happen but still)

Ron: Im great, why?

Hermione: you dont look so good...

Ron: what?? I look handsome! I mean, look at me, *shows the scars tentacle-brain left on him* I look whipped!

Basically how I think Kalten being adopted by Sparhawks went:

Elder sparhawk: Kalten, a new person is joining my family today.

Kalten: thats great my lor-

Elder Sparhawk: its you.

Kalten:

Elder Sparhawk: Follow me, I'll show you your new room.
