She looked at Nick and let her cheeks blush lightly, as if they were on their first date all over again. She shouldn’t be feeling this way with him, he wasn’t her fiance, he wasn’t the man she was marrying. This was emotionally cheating, though there wasn’t a bone in her body or a part of her brain that was strong enough to break off this feeling and walk away. “It’s because you hate it, that makes it all more fun to say Nicky.” She smirked, and ordering another round of shots and a casual drink. “You know I haven’t got drunk in a long time. Even just a little tipsy… It’s something I sure have missed.” She chuckled.
Nick smiled at her, with all the love in his eyes that he had for her when they were teenagers. But things were different now. She wasn’t his anymore. She belonged to someone else. They weren’t having their happily ever after anymore. He wasn’t allowed to touch her like he use to. Wasn’t allowed to kiss her either and that’s all he wanted to do right now. Nick didn’t know what to do cause he was still so in love with her and watching her marrying someone else, someone he hated, was going to kill him. He huffed when he heard the nickname and moved to tickle her. “You’re a little brat.” He tease her. “Of course you missed it. We always had fun drunk.”
Emma smiled looking at him, and when he started to tickle her, she squirmed and though she should have squirmed away. She tried, and slipped falling deeper into his arms. She laughed, their faces were so close, her heart was beating through her chest. She’d forgot that they were in a public place though it was Friday night and the place was packed, she’d doubt anyone would have recognized her. She could smell his cologne, a cologne that would always belong to him. She’d made Andrew change cologne’s saying she didn’t like it, though it just reminded her of Nick, and having another man wear it was wrong. She only stared at his lips, she took a deep breath. “Nick..” the alcohol must have hit her, because she could feel her heard get a little unbalanced. It also gave her the confidence to lean in slowly, she was exhilarated, excited almost.
