(ooc: I am so normal about Shadow, y'all. So anyway, Sonic 3 was a fun time! They did Shadow justice, and I am so relieved after how worried the trailers made me about how heavily they might have taken inspiration from Shadow the Hedgehog. The compromises that were made with staying true to the source material and doing things that made sense for the movie lore worked really well to me.

Might have to slide onto this blog again for real just to do Shadow things.)

I shouldn't be getting hyped, I really shouldn't, but we have a Sonic 3 logo and there was audio that was very clearly notes of Live and Learn and now I'm hyped for this movie SEND HELP.

Probably because they belong to a direct to video sequel or a movie that was made under Disney Television Animation. Prior to yesterday I didn't know A Goofy Movie belonged to that particular division, but it does because it's a movie based on Goof Troop. Would I have loved to see Max and Roxanne get acknowledged? Hell yeah! But they didn't get in for the same reason that characters from Lilo & Stitch the series didn't get in.

SO. I headcanon that characters made under DTA and the DTV sequel characters got their own group photos. I could see Dolly or someone like her being like 'Well, if the characters from main movies and shorts get a photo then so should we!'

Also I've seen a few people asking about Felix the Cat? Like, my dudes... he's not even Disney. Is this going to be the new 'Anastasia is Disney' argument?

Bluey verse ramblings? Sure, why not. Inspired by my boyfriend making a Bluey verse for Da Vinci.

Dolly is, of course, a part of the large Dalmatian family. A blended family, brought together through the marriage of Delilah and Doug Dalmatian. She's Doug's oldest daughter at fourteen years old and often is tasked as the babysitter alongside Dylan, but equally as often tends to shirk her duties since she would much rather be hanging out with friends and skateboarding. She doesn't do that well in school. Not because she doesn't try, because she does, but she doesn't think she's smart enough for it. It doesn't help that Delilah gets on her about it either, which frustrates Dolly to no end. Especially when Delilah compares her to Dylan. She gets it: she isn't her step-brother and never will be. Truth be told, Dolly has strongly considered just dropping out of school. Why should she keep trying at something she isn't good at, right?

She isn't super close to the Heelers or anything, but can sometimes be seen skateboarding around their neighborhood. Dolly also has seen some of the shenanigans that Bluey and Bingo get up to, and she thinks the kiddos are hilarious. They seem much less chaotic than her own huge family.

Not to say that Dolly doesn't like her own family, of course. She still has close bonds with her siblings in this verse. Especially Delgado, though. She helps him find ways to pull off neat tricks with his wheels and teaches him what she knows.

She also still has a mild crush on Hansel, the foreign exchange student, in this verse. But is much more interested in a certain corgi student who is supposedly royalty.

The last thing Shadow remembered with any degree of clarity was fighting alongside Sonic to stop the ARK from destroying everything. He’d become unable to maintain his super form after that, and he fell. If he had fallen through outer space and toward the earth itself, though, then why was it that he could see crystalline shapes in the distance? Why could he feel grass beneath him? Shouldn’t he have been...?

I won’t get answers if I just keep laying here, Shadow told himself. The next course of action was clearly to get on his feet and figure out where he was. Except, when he tried to move, the hedgehog was met with a throbbing sensation in his head and aches in his body. What he did see in the brief moment he was able to look around, though, was one or two shapes of equine creatures. One in particular seemed more elegant than the others. And their colors were bright.

Where was he?

Again, Shadow tried to make himself move. As he did, he decided to speak. If those really were intelligent creatures nearby, then perhaps they could assist him.

“You over there. Can you tell me where I am?”

Anyway, hit like for a Shadow starter? Might take me a little to find my footing for this guy, but let's get this show on the road. Replies probably will be a bit slow, though.

Shadow also has a soft spot for Chao. Don't let his aloof introvertedness fool you - he will protect Chao and take care of them just the same as anyone else. He's not a monster. However, he won't actually show others that he's willing to take care of these adorable creatures unless you're someone he's close to.
