Unfortunately I got another question about my story; I was thinking of making the mc a guy and the spouse a woman, but a woman doesn't really need a guy to survive through life, though.

So.. now I just don't know if I should make the mc -who'll die and be turned into a robot by said spouse - a girl or keep them as a guy, and the spouse a guy or keep as a girl. (._. " )

Should I make the mc's death a few days before their wedding or anniversary?? Idk what to do

How the heck do you do like a "timeskip" to a few years later in your writing?

This is spoilers for an idea I'm writing - even if I'm barely near the middle of the story - but, the "timeskip" I'm thinking of doing is 40 years later, and I'm not sure how to do that.

(My horror story starts in the 70's and ends near the 2000's)

I already got the name for my newest oc twisted off Jinx/Bellatrix/Disgust, but I know I haven't been active awhile (apologies), BUT I have been making a horror story for my robot oc

I might add more characters to the story but rn I have the (pathetic male yearner) MC, and their (engineering woman in STEM[?]) spouseee

(I'm on the 8th scene, but idk if I should make it into a book or animated show; tell me what y'all think I should dooo)

I have a magic idea for a new twst oc I'm making (still dealing with artblock unfortunately), and the characters it'll be based off are:

- Jinx (LOL/Arcane)

- Disgust (Inside Out)

- Bellatrix Lestrange (Harry Potter)

I don't have a clear concept on who/what they'll look like but the magic idea I have involves that phantom pain thing (idk what it's exactly called, sorry) but I will give a overall idea;

- veins glowing a dark-ish pink (shimmer from arcane) and anyone in the oc's vision/area(?), they'll feel like they're in excruciating pain - even if the person isn't injured whatsoever - and it'll last probably around 5 minutes. And that while the oc is an vunlerable state of their overblot, they'll have somewhat heightened senses - speed, strength? Idk.

The "phantom" feeling thing was how Disgust would use the controller(??) to help Riley with food and stuff

Edit: (no, it isn't until I've rewatched the movie.)

And the glowy veins and excruiating feeling of it (I guess?) would be associated with Jinx. (I don't know about Bellatrix yet.)

Just know that I am still not sure if this'll be the full idea for the oc's magic.

(Genuinely asking; Is this a bit of a morbid idea for a twst oc?)

Please continue with the Homestuck poll, I just finished my Ahsoka oc (ik it looks like her, I stay very close to canon designs), but from info about her species - the togrutas - that the oc is a male and i tried to make the horns on the lekku(?) taller and the bottom lekku shorter (i think that's what the male togruta's lekkus are like, idk)

I couldn't think of a good accessory for the lightsaber, so i just made them glow-in-the-dark hair ties (don't question it, idk either) I'll hopefully think of a better idea for the lightsaber part of Ahsoka.

Also idk about the power yet, the oc is in Scarabia dormitory based on character alignment.

They ain't got no eyebrows either.

(I just remembered about their eye color)

I'm stuck on the age info; like I originally wanted to make the oc match Ahsoka's age (like 15) but how can a fae be only FIFTEEN (15) in the SCHOOL??? (If they're not like a half-fae like Sebek)

Of the incoming new Xena: warrior princess ocs of Joxer and Gabrielle, my xena and my now Gabrielle ocs will be more gay than they are in the show (if I can do that, though), and it might be polyamourus(??) between the 2 ocs and Idia, idk yet.

(Probably will end up with just xena and Gabrielle ocs together instead, I needa think it all through first)

Regarding the last 2 twst ocs (Angel & the npc Lilisette), I made their names and stuff but not their powers (Idk if RSA students have them or not)

I also have a few more twst oc ideas - one suggested by my sibling; Ahsoka from star wars(?) - and an oc based off 2 or 3(??) characters but idk for sure yet.
