Unpopular opinion: People complaining about people being nerds over something are way more annoying than the nerd behaviour that they’re complaining about. It’s really hard to enjoy something when most of the social media posts about said thing are just dumping on it because it’s “cringe” now. I’m all up in the Eddie tags on TikTok, tumblr and twitter and I’ve barely ever seen any actual cringe behaviour but I’ve seen a whole lot of complaining about it. It’s bumming me out a bit

I can’t get my head around the fact that there didn’t seem to be a gate where Fred died, I mean he died in the middle of the road… there had to have been a gate for the four gates to merge right? My next thought was well maybe Eddie has something to do with it because he was at two of the deaths screaming his head off and there were gates there… I’m just stabbing in the dark now but please feel free to riff on my tangent

It annoys me that people keep saying that Eddie is the new character that everyone loves and that’s why he’s going to be killed off because it follows the pattern of the other seasons… my dudes… he isn’t the Bob or Alexei of season 4, that is 100% Argyle. He’s the Max or Robin of season 4

im having feelings about the uffington white horse again

so essentially there’s this cool horse drawn into the hills in england made out of chalk and it’s like 3,000 years old.

people carved trenches 3,000 years ago and filled them with chalk in the shape of a horse but what’s interesting is that if you fail to maintain the horse by adding new chalk regularly, it will disappear. for 3,000 years, we’ve been filling in chalk in this horse so it doesn’t disappear.

we’ll never know what the purpose of the horse was originally. we’ll never know if it had ritual or spiritual significance or if it was just art. but we do know that people maintained it then, and, even though the meaning of the horse has long been lost to time, we continue to maintain it now.

the people who made this horse are long dead, but they live through us still, don’t you think?

Initially I’m thinking Mat as Frank, Ben and Martha as brad and Janet, Larry as riff raff, Jim as Eddie and Lolly and Katy as Columbia and magenta and maybe Simon as the narrator/dr Scott ? Alternatively having kiell and Charlotte as brad and Janet would be funny and just like an alternate reality version of ghosts. Unless you were thinking Simon as Frank which I mean I could totally get on board with 😂

@mustvebeenothercaveman I won't lie to you, I was thinking of Simon as Frank. But I love the idea of the Ghosts AU! Ben and Martha as Brad and Janet for sure if we're thinking amongst the six idiots, but if we're going for the Ghosts AU Kiell and Charlotte. Larry as Riff Raff is peak of casting, I don't know who could be the narrator, though. I like Lolly as Columbia and Katy as Magenta, especially because with the Magenta and Riff Raff dynamic you can keep the Mary and Robin dynamic. At this point, we still have Ben, Martha, Jim and Mat to use. Maybe Ben as the narrator? Although, I know we already casted Larry as Riff Raff, but if you're also into Horrible Histories, wouldn't be hilarious if the narrator was Bob Hale?

Hear me out, Ben as Rocky. I’m kind of thinking of that time when Mat played Charles Darwin in HH and how that character would totally work as Dr Scott. Jim is absolutely Eddie, the man can sing and I’m also thinking of when he played that Elvis spider thing in Yonderland lol. I could maybe see Martha as magenta too but I’m not sure, maybe they’d have to invent a character for her lol, or maybe she could be the narrator, I bet she could do it, she’s got the range. Although Bob Hale narrator does sound hilarious

My ONLY criticism of Ghosts: when Humphrey says “she was 12, I was 14”… then they cast an actress who is clearly in her 20s for the flashback. I mean it’s fine but it’s all I can think about when I’m watching that episode. It’s fine though, I still love them
