Without question, Kamui looks to see what she wrote for him curiously then smiles softly. ''You're welcome, miss Jupiter ~! ♫'' He was happy to be thanked. He just hopes it was possible to get her home, back to whoever misses her. Seeing her happy and safe would be the only payment he really needs in exchange.
When it came to deciding on what to eat, he gives a smile when seeing what Jupiter decided on. ''Ah, okay. McDonalds it is then! Off we go.'' Kamui took her with him to the fast food place, and thinking about it now, it had been some time since he's been there. He was pondering how many things to order. The girl likely didn't have an appetite like him, at least. . . . he doesn't think? There were a lot of different humans on Earth after all.
When inside, it wasn't too crowded. He was able to find a place to sit by the window. ''Would you like to wait here, or wait on line with me? To be honest. . . . I kind of don't want to leave you alone. Maybe I'm worrying too much, even though we just met.''
He expressed his worries, wanting to see what she'll say or rather... write out. It wasn't like Kamui couldn't catch anyone who would attempt to kidnap or harm her Kamui would beat them senseless but he rather not her end up in such a situation regardless. Weird things sometimes happened in Kabukicho, he didn't want to take chances.
McDonald’s! You couldn’t go wrong with that! She loved burgers even though she couldn’t have them very often because they’re generally considered unhealthy, so it wasn’t good for it to be a consistent presence in a child’s diet. They could be rather expensive too, when you wanted to feed all the kids at the orphanage, so by all means, that was a rare treat!
There was an excited hop to her steps at the anticipation. When stepping inside of the building, Jupiter is in awe over how many people were inside, all speaking a language that she couldn’t understand. It was a bit overwhelming for the little girl because she was really shy and always nervous about interacting with others due to her select mutism. She was often left alone because the other kids didn’t want to deal with her. There was also the fact that there were whispers about how it was her fault that her parents died.
Afraid of being left alone to possibly be forced to talk to others around her, she latched onto Kamui’s arm, nodding her head at his question to wait in line with him. She didn’t want to risk concerned people walking up to her asking if she was with an adult in a language she couldn’t understand. What if they then bring her to the police and interrogate her? What if she ends up being put in some kind of foster care in a new country?
She’d much rather stay by the side of someone who she could communicate with, even if it was just by her writing in a notebook.
[I like Kamui] [I can understand Kamui]
Don’t worry though, if someone suspects he’s a kidnapper, she’ll make a mad dash for his innocence! Mhm! She’s very good at running for some bushes! (She has a very active imagination, you see)
