Every time Atem pops up behind Yugi and says something generic like “I sense incredible spirit from that person” I’m like did the millennium puzzle actually give you vibe-reading powers or do you just really want to participate and are making up vaguely wise and mystic-sounding things to say. Do you just feel kinda left out of the conversation, Atem. I like to play this game with myself called “Dumbest Headcanon” and the current leader is that Tristan/Honda is just like, stupid good-looking. By far and away the best looking dude there. But because he spent the beginning of the story being a bullying douche, and then the vast majority of the rest of the story being overshadowed by world champion card players, loudmouths, billionaires, actual magic, etc., etc., just, no one notices or cares. He’s a pretty nice guy, he’s got a motorcycle, he wears a cool leather jacket. And just, no payoff. This HC changes literally nothing about the story but it is so funny to me to imagine Tristan is there in the background being a regular dreamboat and it’s just totally disregarded. Cinéma
