my view on russtappen is that they are divorced this is true and when they meet halfway between george’s house on the jersey shore and max’s house in queens at a gas station (possibly a wawa) george jingles his keys viciously and yells at max for giving the kids kool-aid and ice cream on the same day and also is that CAR SEAT NOT PUT IN PROPERLY? max you piece of shit. and he goes in and fixes it himself while max stares at his ass. and then on the car ride back to his place in jersey one of the kids pukes coca cola bc max let them have too many when they stopped at a mcdonald’s (HE LETS YOU HAVE MCDONALDS?) and george pulls over and calls max and yells at him and it’s the best social interaction max has had since last weekend, when he took the kids

The way Max so carefully places his fingers in the gap left by George's hand on the microphone...it reminds me of how they sat in that tiny car making sure their hands weren't overlapping on the handle, haha. So funny.

I’m in need of a fic where it starts with Torger Wolff’s murder. George is the main suspect. He tries to solve the case and clear his name, and somehow Verstappen gets involved and helps him. They grow closer during the investigation and as George mourns Torger. In the end, George realizes it was Max who killed Torger and asks him why. Max confesses, “I did it so you could be free.”
