ACTUALLY LET’S TALK ABOUT IT. house’s face falling slightly when wilson asks him to be at the operation. wilson’s nervous ass voice saying he’d like him there. how quiet house suddenly gets after an entire episode of being his loud self and criticising wilson for letting the asshole walk all over him, because NOW wilson’s getting the operation and it’s happening and he really could die. the way house tries to play off saying he won’t go by just sitting down and going back to work but he can’t stop rubbing his fuckin leg so it’s obviously acting up when it wasn’t before. wilson being so stunned at house’s response, and while his reaction is partly because he’s hurt that house said no, i think “because if you die i’m alone” has also made him realise the weight of what he’s about to do and that house is actually genuinely scared for him
