I believe this is Hvaldimir, who, get this, is believed to be a defected Russian spy. Literally.

Hi everyone! Your thanks towards the UK Sikh community for feeding stranded truck drivers are much appreciated, but the UK Sikh community is now facing another threat and I kindly ask you not to ignore this.

In 2009, three Sikh men were accused of the assassination of prominent RSS leader Rulda Singh by Indian authorities. British authorities investigated the crime, even travelling to India to do so, and found no evidence that they were involved. No extradition warrants were issued at the time and it is unclear why this 11 year old crime is being reopened.

December 21st, 2020 - these three men were arrested for extradition warrants to India, signed by Priti Patel. Priti Patel has openly supported the RSS and Modi’s “vision for India.”

Sikh communities are very concerned about the precedent this will set. Sikh human rights activists have been murdered (Jaswant Singh Khalra) and thrown in prison indefinitely and tortured (Jagtar Singh Johal) for educating people about the 1980′s - 1990′s Sikh genocide. Three Sikh youths (Arwinder Singh, Surjit Singh, & Ranjit Singh) were arrested and sentenced to life in prison for possessing books about the 1980′s - 1990′s Sikh genocide.

We do not believe these men will get a fair trial in India and we believe the risk of torture or extra-judicial execution is high. We are also concerned about the dangerous precedent that may be set of sending members of a marginalized minority back to the country criminalizing and marginalizing those very voices and what this means for the activism of marginalized communities living outside their homelands.

Please let your MPs & the Foreign Secretary know that you oppose the extradition of these men. Even something simple as “I am your constituent and I oppose the precedent that extraditing these men will create.” will suffice.
