minatostyle:
Minatoās shoulder stiffened and his body shook badly.
That was a voice he havenāt heard in so long, besides having small talk in the Great Seal. His hands were holding tight on the arm rest. Minato wants to believe it. But he also doesnāt.
It wasnāt like he wanted to see him again, but the man was afraid. Again. Why was Ryoji Mochizuki, here? There could be so many reasons and explanations. But it didnāt⦠make sense. Heās dreading a little. He doesnāt want to turn around, nor does he want Ryoji to see him.
But then why didnāt he want to see an old friend? Why? He was balancing his reasons carefully. Yet, all he could do was account it to the fact he was gone from the seal. Or something like that. Then he worried immensely. What happened to Nyx?
He doesnāt know what to do anymore. There were many times he had felt that way. But this time it was terrifying. So Minato had lounged around in his wheelchair.
Footsteps approached him and color had decisively left his face. It was really him. Yellow long scarf, black suspenders, and slicked hair. It was really him. The blue haired boy wanted to cry, or maybe yell.
He lost his voice however that moment as Ryoji came in front of him. A aggressive side of his personality returned, as he grabbed hold of scarf tightly. A hand tightened to a fist and he punched Ryoji Mochizuki in the face.
He doesnāt look like he regret it. Because he asks angrily, āWHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE, MOCHIZUKI?ā
Yikes.
Ryoji should have known better than to expect some kind of warm welcome - he didnāt, in all honesty - but he also hadnāt expected a fist to the face either.
Not that he didnāt deserve it. He just hadnāt anticipated it.
Ryoji stumbles backward, sucking in air between his clenched teeth in some sort of pained hiss. He looks down at Minato, cradling his cheek with the palm of his hand, but there wasnāt any anger in his eyes.
How could there be?
ā... Sorry.ā he says, adjusting his gaze to look anywhere but at Minatoās face.Ā āI donāt know, either, actually. I was actually hoping maybe you did, but...ā
Probably, he should leave Minato alone. Whatever force had put him here had been a mistake. And yet... He just canāt quite will himself to turn around and leave.
