𝕱𝖔𝖓𝖙𝖘, not very Cpunk
🤘🏻😈 Check out my image below. We've all seen and know these wild and wicked cool looking fonts. In posters, flyers, stickers, pins/patches, music/bands, shirts...and so on. They're representative, cool and a big part of metal and punk core. ❤️🩹 But, unfortunately it's not really acessable to the cpunk & disabled community.
❌ these fonts are extremely hard to read.
❌when these fonts are used for Events posters, or punk Community flyers, it's a bit abelist to the punks/ people who have bad eyesight, have pain or have brain flashes looking at overstimulating and confusing imagery.
❌ even though it's just a few words or a sentence. Some folxs eyes can physically hurt trying to read and understand these fonts. And people may even have short term but lasting effects like headaches or brain zaps.
❌ also, bloody font can be hard core 🤘🏻, but can definitely be triggering to people who've been victims of violent crimes or self harm.
❤️🩹 My main point is that these fonts aren't acessable (readable) to a lot of disabled folxs, causing exclusion & even ill health flares. ❤️🩹
Please consider this notation when designing and using your fonts!
Image description. Image shows a large range/amount of different fonts used by bands and brands. The fonts in the image have loud & bold styled letters. Appearing jagged, looking ripped, spiked, flaming, torn, shattered, melting, bleding, slashed... The fonts are extremely hard to read.
