Some fans insist that the writer does not mean to imply any male/male couplings, despite how the writer drew a scene (fake but still a scene) of Sasuke and Sai having sex. Recently, Naruto used harem no jutsu, turning himself into a crowd of naked men. The sexy and harem jutsus require meticulous studying of naked people beforehand, so this was no small deal.

Other people insist Naruto is gay, even though he has a canon crush on Sakura. There are plenty of other characters in Naruto who could be easily headcanoned as gay. Naruto is bisexual.
