Oh good, she hadn’t taken his joke the wrong way. Though he always jokes without worry, he ends up worrying after making them. Sometimes they aren’t exactly received well. Especially when going the sarcastic way of things. “Think I should be thanking you, I mean, you did make it.” Trial or not, she didn’t have to let him have one.
“Dang, you guys really do have it all, don’t you?” A small whistle comes before his words, Chris following her as she shows him what they had. He can’t help but find her enthusiasm kind of cute. “Wait - did you say bacon cakes?” Okay, okay now he definitely has to try those. While they sound super weird he can’t really pass up trying them, can he? “Never heard of someone selling bacon cakes before. Sounds pretty weird - pretty cool though.” What? He’s honest.
R-really? He’s interested in bacon cakes? “Yeah, they’re really popular right now. Well, anything bacon is super popular. They have bacon smoothies, bacon cupcakes, bacon gum, and even bacon toothpaste! I never really got into the craze though, and thankfully we only sell the bacon cake, and only because the customers kept wondering why we didn’t sell any of them...” She smiles, but deep down she was shuddering at the thought of the world being overrun by bacon food items. The nightmare...
“I mean, if you really want one...” she giggles. She shouldn’t judge the male based on his food preferences. Shouldn’t, but she most likely would. The idea was intriguing, but nothing screamed that she must absolutely try it.
