{ A tiny, flattered smirk }Â
Iâve nothing against olives. { Subtle raise of her brows }
Does cicci not mean grosse in some areas? The love of fuller body types hasnât quite hit France yet, malheureusement.Â
{ Scrunches her face up like you just killed her cat. }
Donât be so silly. I wouldnât be so simple in my insults. It means honey. Much in the way you would call someone cher, that is all.
{ Waves her off gently. }
A simple mistake, but it is the lowest form of insult to target someoneâs weight, especially over a glass of wine and antipasti.

Erzsi listens, eyes looking toward the ceiling in contemplation at all the choices Gio listed. The B&Bs were certainly tempting but Gio had offered her own place including a freshly made breakfast. Turning it down would almost be impolite. She pulls her lips into a small grimace making it seem like itâs a hard choice even though her mind is already made up. âSince you are so gracious to offer your own accommodations, how can I refuse?â
She laughs at Gioâs comments, âBut how do we start such an organization? Make a website and hope for the best?â This is asked with a teasing lilt as she tucks a strand of hair behind her ear. âI am sure there will be enough finely dressed men at the party to suit our viewing pleasure. And, if I do come, I will be a wonderful wing woman for you. If anyone catches your attention, of course.â
âA wise choice. And just because itâs you, Iâll even throw in some freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning.â She says it as if she did not make her own each morning. It was no trouble to host someone else. âIf youâre lucky, you might catch some of the boys working in the vineyard. In the lingering summer heat, itâs often too hot for them to work with their shirts on, and they just happen to work in view of the veranda weâll be eating our breakfast on.â
âThat would be a good start. We could take our cause to the gala. Have cute little badges or something that we hand out to everyone who wears a suit correctly, or offer our services to those less fortunate. They need a guiding light, and who are we to deny it? That is our charitable service, after all - raising tailor awareness.â The playful smile continues to dance on her lips, making it hard to tell if sheâs joking or serious about the plight. âI appreciate it greatly, Erszi.â

Oh, in that case paint away! I would be more than happy to be assisting you, even in such a small way!
{ She takes Ludmilaâs arm gently, turning it so her hand is palm up before she begins to delicately paint stripes up her forearms. Peach, buttercup, rose, terracotta. }
Thank you for your help. My own skin has the wrong undertones... too warm. I usually avoid more soft, pastel shades, but Iâm trying something new for a change.
liachtaschtaâ:
But of course Iâll share! I do not think I can be eating an entire cake on my own, and it is much more fun to be sharing with friends yes?
Of course! If you would like, we could bake the cake together. Homemade cake always tastes better than shop-bought, in my opinion.

âEspecially if the weather is beautiful, how could you not. And I do. Itâs such an incredible machine. But I am a bit of a Porsche man, itâs not my first. And unless they do something to change the brand too much⌠it probably wont be my last.â Roderich said, reflecting the smile that she wore on her face. Flattery like that always felt good, and there was no sense in denying that.Â
âIsnât it? Life is best enjoyed simply. Sometimes things get lost when things get overcomplicated and muddled,â he says, not before taking another long moment to just simply enjoy where he was in this moment in time. He had always enjoyed this part of the country, and the day was just lovely.Â
âA walk? Now that sounds wonderful. The sea⌠itâs very fascinating. Once we finish here, I would like that very much.âÂ
âWell, youâre the petrol head over myself. I just appreciate fast and pretty-looking cars.â A small shrug. âBut Iâll have to make sure to align my trip with some good weather, especially with the winter rapidly approaching us now.Â
âI agree. It is a mantra to live by, especially when you live for as long as us. But then again, Iâve always enjoyed the simple pleasures more than the extravagant ones. Of course, I love getting all dressed up to enjoy an evening of high culture and gourmet eating as the next person, but I am just as happy with my toes in the sand or simply enjoying a sunset.â
Gio gives a small nod. âThen we can do that." She pursed her lips in thought for a moment. âUnfortunately, there arenât many big beaches in the city. Thereâs a small one near Rotunda Diaz... thatâs a short walk. Iâll have to take you to the beaches by the Amalfi Coast next time you visit me at my villa - those beaches are beautiful!â
meghatarozvaâ:
âWell, you are my favorite Italian,â Erzsi admits with a wink. âAh, you know me, I never have any concrete plans and usually find accommodations when I get to a place. Unless itâs overseas, I donât want to take too much of a risk.â Erzsi laughs a little with a shrug. âIf you have some recommendations, I will be happy to hear them.â
Erzsi places a hand on her chest and nods solemnly. âTruly, I also mourn whenever a suit is worn wrong. That poor piece of clothing shouldnât be disgraced like that.â She takes a deep breath shaking her head, âWe should start a fundraiser for every man to be fitted for a suit. Itâs the only way to stop it.â Then she laughs heartily, smiling over at Gio, âA bad suit fitting can ruin an attractive man.â
âIâll keep you to that, you know.â At the question, she delicately tapped a finger to her lips in thought, resting her other hand on her hip. âWell, besides my home, which is by far the most superior option; freshly made breakfast, a sea view and surrounded by a peaceful silence - thereâs quite a variety. I know a few local bed- and-breakfast sort of deals ran by people who have lived here all their life, if youâd like something small and unassuming. If you prefer something more extravagant, then perhaps somewhere by the coast, like the Baia Hotel, is very luxurious. Iâve also heard Casa Suarè is a great location, right in the centre of Salerno.â
âI think you need to have a license to wear a suit. It should be a right of passage - you canât be called a man if you canât wear a suit. Itâs just simple knowledge, like knowing how to correctly wear a tie.â She laughs and nods in agreement. âYes! Now thatâs a public service organisation I would gladly support, for the sake of all mankind, both the men and the women! Weâve lost too many attractive men to the perils of a poorly tailored suit. Itâs criminal.â

âDinner sounds like a good time actually.â There was something about having a meal with someone that deeply appealed to Saima so they were quick to take up Gioâs offer.Â
Although they were sympathetic to Gioâs plight, they knew it was for the best since he does have an appointment to get to.Â
âYouâre very welcome. Glad I was able to help. Hopefully, things go well for him at the vet.â
âVery well. Iâll be home later this evening... Iâd advise coming around five or six, perhaps. I will likely start cooking when I come home from the vets, however the earlier you come the longer you will have to wait for food.â A small smile. âJust let yourself in. Iâll be here in the kitchen. Thank you again.â

When Saima chooses to return to Gioâs home, they will hear her before they see her. A radio is playing in the kitchen, with Gio humming and singing along to it softly before she notices her guest. She offers a warm smile in greeting, wiping her hands on her apron and gesturing for them to come into the room more. âBuonasera. Can I get you a drink or anything?â
wietkoningâ:
âI could give ya a ride on my shoulders and you could pick âem.â A teasing grin as he drops more into the basket, one falling to the grass below. He glances at it and tugs a few more down before retrieving it and wiping the sweat from his brow with the back of his sleeve. âYou could. If you make dinner part of the deal. Thereâs a nice view, what can I say?â Indulging a beautiful woman for no reason was certainly not his game.Â
Koen fondles the orange idly, watching her a moment and slowly working the peeling off of it, in one fell swoop. âMe, greedy? Oh come now. Iâm generous. You see me workinâ here without a fuss, right?â A charming grin as he pulls the segments apart and offers her a bite. âGotta taste the merch first.â
She narrows her eyes with suspicion and warning. âDonât you dare pick me up, van Amstel, or Iâll make you regret it.â She stepped closer, wandering arund the tree slightly as she continues to observe what the other had done before pausing in front of him, a hand resting on her hip. âWell of course. I regularly cook for those who work for me. One of the best ways to show oneâs appreciation is through food, I find.â
âHmm... greed can be many things. I just donât want you to think youâre getting more out of this than you are.â She hums softly, one corner of her lips quirked into a smirk as she took the segment from him. Carefully she bit into it, making sure to not spill juice down herself (not a cute look). She glanced back at Koen, delicately licking her lips before continuing: âDelicious. There are very few things better than an orange straight from the tree. There are certainly more interesting ways to taste them than eating the segments, though.âÂ
grottenschlechttâ:
Does it look like theyâre on a date? Probably, which is probably why Ludwig suddenly feels a rush of discomfort, his cheeks heating up in a flush. Regardless, he follows Gio and the host to their table, placing her bags down. Perhaps a little too eager to hide his discomfort - and now his nerves, knowing the topic of her interest - Ludwig hastened himself with pulling Gioâs chair out for her. A man of true manners, apparently. Something like that.
âI mean, I didnât know why, but maybe I wanted to think that people actually liked me or something.â A lonely antisocial boy. âBut sure. We can discuss him.â
Gio rolled her eyes at his comment. She had very little time for self-deprecation, but fine, sheâd humour him. âDonât be so dramatic. This is killing two birds with one stone. I can see how you are doing, and I can also see if youâre being a suitable boyfriend for VinVin, my darling brother who I care very much about. If I didnât like you, at least at a basic level, we wouldnât be having this conversation.â
She glances at the wine menu before looking back up. Her expression suddenly softened into a smile and she delicately rested her chin on entwined fingers.
âYou make him happy, you know? I hope the feeling is mutual between you two.â
toberoundistobefreeâ:
Heike nodded along sagely, as if in full understanding. He understood at least part of it, at any rate, even if he didnât quite get the full picture. âSo⌠if I want to give gifts to Viktor, I just need to make sure that I do them on the computer or my tablet?â
Gio gave a small nod, not entirely sure what she was recommending here. âYes... sort of. I mean, if he can access files through the computer, yes. You mentioned how you can draw him pictures on your tablet and he can receive them, yes? Well, the same should apply for any media created through a computer. Art, models, music... whatever you choose.â
fcrmidableâ:
Thatâs saying that Iâm a disciplined woman who still has standards.Â
{ She squints at the forward wave to the waiter }
Iâm not sure I believe you. Mais bien, red.Â
{ Excuse you she made eye contact first sheâs not rude }.
{ Sheâs going to order two glasses of Chianti and an antipasti platter for them. }
A good choice. Red works well with saltier platters like this one. I hope you like olives, cicci.
