“Ugh, but magic,” Sera grumbled. “Dunno what they could do.”
“’Tis why I’m here, is it not? And you are one of the strongest members of the Inquisition, so I think they should be fearing you.”

“Oh please, what could go wrong? It’s only a couple of apostates, none of them as skilled as I, I’m sure.”
“I apologize on my son’s behalf. Kieran doesn’t always watch where he walks.”

He notices there’s a bit something weary about her answer. Was that.. hesitation? Jongin decides to brush it off, not wanting to push any further since it wasn’t his place. “It must be extremely different then. Like it here in Korea? Or was America better?”
She keeps the grin on her face to hide whatever possible nervousness is shown. “Neither is better, I suppose, but here is most definitely different and foreign. And I have always been one for adventure.”

"We’re alone now— what was it that you wanted to tell me?”
"I wanted to ask; if we happen to go by the Circle again, if we could spare some time. Flemeth had an old grimoire, but it was taken from her. I suspect it to still be in the Circle."
Ellana found Morrigan at the tavern and tilted her head. "Poor thing." She walked up and gently shook her shoulder gently. "Morrigan. Wake up. Its too cold to sleep here." she said gently.
It was rare to find Morrigan anywhere near a tavern, let alone drunk. But to nearly lose Kieran to Flemeth was much for even her brain to take in. “You will not have my son…” was all that escaped her lips.
Smiling sincerely, Ellana lead the woman through the threshold of her bed chambers and guided her to the bed. Laying her down, she pulled the blankets over her.
"Its alright, Morrigan. I got very intoxicated one night and threw up on Cullen’s shoes. You’ll be fine."
"I will not be throwing up on your shoes, I can promise you that much," She allowed the other to lay her down, unable to think much due to her pounding head. "You have my thanks, Inquisitor."
"Overseas? Really? Well, that’s nice to hear. America? I usually meet a lot of foreigners from there."
"Ah, yes, America, just like everyone else," she nods her head, hoping the other doesn't see through her lie.
ϡ (for Sam)
It was done. The archdemon was slain, the Blight was over. But nearly at the cost of her love’s life. Before Sam even got a chance to catch his breath, Morrigan rushed to his side, pulling him close, and soon, their lips met. It wasn’t the most romantic place, on top of Fort Drakon, both of them covered in darkspawn blood and guts with an archdemon corpse in front of them. But at the moment, none of that hardly mattered. What did matter was that they were both alive.
"I was raised to believe in the Maker and Andraste and the Chantry and blah blah blah. But lately… I don’t know, I have doubts. And then I have doubts about my doubts."
"You were raised to believe, but does that mean you really believe?"
Her eyes were immediately drawn to the child beside her. The boy took only one look at her before turning around and obeying his mother’s orders. It was enough for Lily to feel something for him. As she would feel for the son of her best friend, naturally. She wished, although, that she could have met him sooner.
“I… I didn’t mean to put all of the blame on you. I know I have been MIA as well. There was a time that even if you wanted to contact me, you wouldn’t be able to. I just… I missed you.” The rogue smiled faintly and looked away for a few seconds. Ever since the end of the Fifth Blight, they all went their separated ways and Lily was pretty much by herself for years.
It became harder and harder to feel things and deal with people. She wasn’t the same person anymore. So as much as she felt this impending urge to hug Morrigan, she just didn’t have the courage to do so. Also, she had no idea how the witch would react. “He looks like a good kid. I’d love to meet him sometime. Has… Alistair met him?”
"'Tis good to see you again, old friend," a small smile was on Morrigan's lips now. The mage scanned the other's face; age wasn't evident in Lily's face, despite ten years of not seeing her face. "I have missed you just as much."
"He is a good boy. I have raised him well, I think. He'd probably like to meet you, as well; he's been asking when he'd get the chance since I've told him a few stories. More often when he heard Leliana had managed to get in touch with you." The stories of his mother's travels with the Hero always left Kieran fascinated.
"No, he hasn't." Morrigan had tried hard not to bring up the topic of Alistair, as she heard what had happened between them from Leliana when they were 'catching up.' "Though, I suppose it is what's preferred for the both of us. He's too busy leading a kingdom, anyway, is he not?"
