Anakin âChrisâ Davenport
ââ-Iâve seen that look before.â Milly offered a small smile to her opposite, hoping she wasnât busted. Sometimes it wasnât so easy playing the living card. âWould you believe me if I said I was the house mother?â
Face rested against his hands, Chris had been in deep thought. He couldn't quite put his finger on what it was, but he'd been having trouble for the past month or so. It wasn't until the female voice broke through his train of the thought that he realized he wasn't alone. "Huh?...House mother?"
Twenty-one, twenty-two," Chris groaned as he completed each push up.
âThese are neat.â The blonde phantom softly commented while flipping the page of the thin booklet. Several other comics were spread out around her, all from the box she had found in the attic. They didnât belong to her; however, that didnât halt Luna from taking them to look through.
Chris approached the young woman, curiosity clear in his eyes at the comics she held in her hands. "Where did you find those?" He asked, his face clearly interested.

âOuch,â Chris grumbled as he backed away from the wall.
Wide eyed and attempting to hold back a laugh, Tara brought her hands to her mouth before dropping them dramatically â a wide grin planted on her face. âOh my God, what was that?â
Fighting the urge to punch the wall, Chris bit his bottom lip. Of course he had to be caught in one of the most embarrassing moments during his afterlife. Turning around, Chrisâ eyes remained downcast. âI thought there was a doorâŠâ
Rolling his eyes, Chris stepped closer and wrapped his arms around her waist. âOnly when Iâm around you, Sweets,â he answered, his lips coming down to claim hers.
Snickering as he crept closer to her, Zinc rested her palms on his chest and looked up at him with a smirk, âIs that so?â She teased, responding to his lips with her own.
Eyebrows wagging, Chris smirked. "Yep. It's definitely all your fault too," he answered, before claiming her lips once more. His hands gripping her hips, he pulled her body closer as he deepened the kiss.
Chris grinned goofily before wagging his eyebrows. âI know of one twitch thatâs happening right now but itâs not in my eyes.â
With a chuckle, Zinc shook her head in amusement, before quirking an eyebrow, âOf course there is, Mon Cher. Isnât that always twitching?â
Rolling his eyes, Chris stepped closer and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Only when I'm around you, Sweets," he answered, his lips coming down to claim hers.
"Ouch," Chris grumbled as he backed away from the wall.
What a shocker.
What is?
Biting his thumb nail absentmindedly, Chris stared at the contents in the fridge. He could feel the old pull he once had to eat but he wasnât sure what to grab. Grabbing out a little container of applesauce, he smiled. âWhoever got these are awesome.â
âOh man, I know,â Spencer voiced in, looking up from the applesauce to Chris. âI think it was one of the girls. Probably the same one who stocked the freezer with cotton candy ice cream.â He gestured with an enthusiastic grin, perking his brows. âAbout time, too. I was getting sick of all the healthy shit.â
An involuntary jerk had Chris looking over to the other man as he spoke. He had completely forgotten to check the room when he came in and the sudden appearance of someone else left him twitchy. "Cotton candy ice cream? Sounds like my kind of woman," he responded, able to shake off his surprise easily.
âŠNot like parties?
âŠNo, I-I am just not too⊠f-familiar with⊠this type of party.
Eyebrows raising softly as he looked at the blonde, Chris couldn't help but give her a sad smile. "Are you uh...a ghost? I mean...the chalkiness says it all but I just think I should ask..."
Well uhâŠyou knowâŠhouse arrest. *Chrisâ face turned confused for a few seconds before shrugging and going along with it.* You know, canât leave the property..
Ah, right. Lot of ya âave house arrest, did ya all âave sum kinda party or suminâ that yah werenât âllowed?
Chris's grin faltered for a second, unsure of what to say. He had never really been the best liar in the world and the fact that he had chosen not to come out and say he was a ghost nagged at him, but he found himself nodding. "Yeah, bunch of us...sucks y'know?"
Biting his thumb nail absentmindedly, Chris stared at the contents in the fridge. He could feel the old pull he once had to eat but he wasn't sure what to grab. Grabbing out a little container of applesauce, he smiled. "Whoever got these are awesome."
âThat twitch is just a twitch of love, baby.âÂ
âYou know all about that, donât you?â
Chris grinned goofily before wagging his eyebrows. "I know of one twitch that's happening right now but it's not in my eyes."
Why is that?Â
Because if I wanted to watch a bunch of couples shove each otherâs tongues down their throats I would throw on a porno. Itâs just a stupid holiday.Â
Nodding Chris shrugged. "I think some guy made it a thing in order to get out of the doghouse with his girl. Can't knock it though, it's worked with every guy since."
Yeah, well...be careful of the gun toting asshole walking around here.Â
