“Todd? Hellooo, Earth to Todd,” Neils says, waving a hand in front of Todd’s face. “Are you listening?”

At this, Todd breaks out of his trance. Yes, that’s the perfect word for it, a trance. Todd couldn’t take his eyes off of Neil. The way he puts his whole heart and soul into acting, making it as convincing as possible.

“Mm, yes? Yes, I’m listening,” Todd says.

“Mmhm,” Neil replies. “Then how did I do that time around?”

“Amazing, as always,” Todd states.

“See, you say that every time and one: that can’t always be true, and two: giving me blind, positive feedback doesn’t help me get any better.”

“Well, you don’t need to get any better,” Todd says with a sarcastic shrug.

“I’m serious,” Neil says with a laugh, falling on Todd’s bed.

Todd’s fingers go immediately to Neil’s hair. One of his favorite things in the world is playing with Neil’s hair, watching as Neil closes his eyes with contentment. 

“And I’m serious too! You don’t need to get better, you’re already the best,” says Todd.

Neil hums in response. Just laying there, his head in Todd’s lap. He’s never felt more at home than he does right here, right now.

“I just want to do my best. To show my father that this is something I could really do with my future.” Neil says.

“I get that,” Todd starts. “But you don’t want to spread yourself too thin with this. We need you good and rested for the performance.” As he says this Todd plants a kiss on Neils forehead.

At this, Neils sits up; cross-legged directly in front of Todd. He then takes Todd’s face in his hands and says, “You’re right, I deserve some rest.”

“Yes, you do.”

As if in sync, both Todd and Neil lay down in Todd’s small, twin-sized bed. Cuddled up, faces centimeters away from each other. A satisfied sigh escaping both of their lips.

Okay so hear me out, can be read as platonic or romantic but I did have romantic in mind when I was imagining.

When they’re in Uni, they still live together.

Cam takes up baking as a stress relief hobby, but he never actually thinks to do it. Everyone knows that he’s calmer when he bakes, and subconsciously he might as well, but he won’t intentionally go bake to calm himself down.

When Charlie notices that he’s majorly stressing out over an assignment or while studying, he’ll suddenly be like “damn, you know what sounds really good right now? SNICKERDOODLES.

So then Cam is like… 20 minutes later “I heard you say you wanted snickerdoodles?” with a plate of warm cookies in his hands, smiling and noticeably more relaxed.

(His favourite thing to make is brownies, but Charlie HATES chocolate. Every single time they’re made, though, he’ll always eats one, hyping them up so much before “sharing” with Neil and Todd. Cam has never caught on to the fact that Charlie can’t stand chocolate because he eats the brownie with a smile on his face and praise on his lips.)

(Side headcanon, I said what I said, Charlie HATES chocolate but Neil LOVES it, when they were younger they traded Halloween candy so Neil got all the chocolates and Charlie got the gummies and stuff ☺️)

Todd - NYT games

Neil - Doesn’t play games, just reads ao3/watches slime tutorials

Charlie - Angry Birds

Meeks - iMessage games, a BEAST at darts (not irl, just on the phone)

Pitts - also iMessage games but destroys everyone in 8ball

Todd: Can’t pick a favourite, it changes depending on his mood (he has a HUGE collection!!)

Neil: Battleship (he sucks at it, but he loves watching the look of concentration on Todd’s face 🤭)

I think his favorite color would be a really annoying color, just to be funny, and it’s not even his REAL favorite color he just likes to be annoying like, if you asked him what his fav color was he’d say some bullshit name like Glaucous or periwinkle just to be annoying, however on a real note, I think he really likes warm yellows, he cannot explain it he just does.

he hates uniform, if you know how Jake from b99 is with ties that’s exactly how he is, like, he HATES THEM so much, doesn’t like them, but however he’s forced to wear them </3 doesn’t like it though, literally sulks as he’s getting ready and Cameron is just like “ᶦᵗ’ˢ ⁿᵒᵗ ᵗʰᵃᵗ ˢᵉʳᶦᵒᵘˢ” (I made it small cause he’s whispering it to himself LMFAOO)

his favorite animal is probably a otter. ngl he reminds me of a otter, not because he acts like one, just because he kinda looks like one?? But I think he’d be embarrassed of it being a otter so he’d lie about it and say some like big scary animal like a fucking polar bear, sorry I just have to stick him to that aquatic time animal. Like you know that TikTok trend where it’s like “if you had asked me what ____ is I’d say ___ but if you knew me on a deeper level you’d know it’s ____” or something like that, I feel like that’s another way to explain it

I think when Charlie likes something he immediately thinks he like owns it and is obligated to his opinion being right about it like, if you liked a song he likes he would be like “…..okay but did you know ___ no.. you didn’t that’s why I’m better…”

HES VERY COMPETITIVE OMG, one time he and Knox were doing some challenge and it was like whoever could eat something the fastest and he literally almost choked from trying to GULF it down, safe to say he won… but at what cost 💔
