*HAWKE AND ANDERS UPDATE*
My handsome boys Anders (Blue) and Hawke (Red) :D They’ve done so well in the past couple months since we got them. Anders’ fins won’t ever be back to normal, despite us treating him, but that hasn’t stopped him form excelling in his health!
2 weeks ago, I noticed Hawke had been making bubbles on the top of his tank. Not knowing what that was about, I googled it and what came up basically said that he was happy and content and considered his tank his territory. To the point where he’s making bubble nests and wants to have babies. Naturally this made me incredibly happy.
Last week, we moved Anders from a round 8 litre tank to the same type of tank that Hawke has. I knew the move for him would be stressful and with how his health was when we got him, I was a little worried about him. However I didn’t need to worry as after a couple days of getting used to the tank, Anders was acting a lot livelier. He definitely enjoys his new tank as in the past couple of days, Anders has also started making bubble nests, which was something he never did in his old tank.
To summarize, these two beautiful boys love their tanks and are very happy and content, which is something I thought would take a lot longer (more so with Anders than Hawke) but am very happy with their progress.
