I know no one will read this ever but what is scary about house of leaves?
I read it fully and maybe im just not smart enough to understand the horror of it, but haven't everyone been through walking in a black void, trapped forever without even as much a body to walk with until you finally wake up as a person and realise what is waiting for you?
Like everyone has that right? I think I'd vibe in such a house.
Also when I was little, like 11 my family was looking at buying a new house and i found this strange yellow door that looked like it would just lead outside but outside there was no door there just a wall. When we moved in the door was gone, never saw it again. Anyways this is the reason why I read house of leaves now as an adult.
Anyways! About Johnny Truant going insane, haven't we all been there? When you don't know who you are or where you end and another being in your head begins? When you don't know what is happening around you and what you've actually done or just imagined? When you don't know if there is something after you or if you're safe? Like we've all been there, I worked it through with years of therapy and Johnny, well I dunno what that man did, I just hope the man is still alive.
So like yeah the book was very cool to read especially with how uniquely it was written but ultimately it was quite normal?
