Got bored, drew Kix with passenger pigeon wings. Given that the passenger pigeon also went from millions to one individual, I think it fits.

You accidentally acquired a cursed corrupting artifact that slowly makes its owner more and more evil. You only found out years later, but you never noticed any change. After some investigation you learn that the artifact apparently determined that you are already as evil as you will ever be.
Fox: Huh. So I had a Sith artifact sitting in my office all this time? Obi-Wan: Yes, this is very serious. Vos: You can tell. I brought Obi-Wan. Fox: ā¦ Fox: What does it do? Obi-Wan: It's a highly dangerous localized Dark Side nexus that corrupts its target over time. Fox: ā¦ Fox: I think I would have noticed. Vos: No, no, get this! There's a catch. And it's super obvious why it didn't work on you. Obi-Wan: There is a limitation to what it can accomplish with any given person. I think it sucks that you have to go to so many different kinds of doctor to take care of yourself. It's the 21st century. I should be able to go to a single office where they scan me with a big xerox machine and tell me what I'm allergic to and why my tummy hurts and if I have any cancer or cavities or if my glasses prescription has changed. And then I should get a sticker.
What if I just tried going to the vet instead of ten different doctor's offices. At least they might give me peanut butter.
So as someone who works in a doctors office I have some news that I did infact have to learn and I learned it very recently because not a lot of people are told how health care works in my country
The Xerox machine doesn't exist (which boo) but the human equivalent of a vet does exist
It's called a Gp or a primary care physician. Here in the good old capitalist of the USA they will order the same tests as a specialist and be able to narrow most things down to see if you can be treated with them or go to a specialist.

They can't obviously do everything but that can do like ...90 percent of everything first and help narrow everything down
