My relationship is literally all I have. I am lost in a sea of second jobs and side hustles and I have no achievable career dream

What the FUCK JUST HAPPENED

Spoiler alert:

I love Sharna a lot but this isn’t how I wanted her to win

And tbh this whole season has illustrated how the format of the show needs to be altered to compensate for the insanely skewed viewer voting base. Something has to change. I’m not sure what or how, but Joe staying on so long and Bobby winning are symptoms of a larger problem.

Very conflicted about this whole thing. Would love to know how everyone else placed. Gonna sleep on this one.

This show isn’t just about dance…if it was they wouldn’t have a popular vote. I do think some change in how votes are tabulated has occurred this season though. I don’t have any data on that, just a feeling I have. 

Plus Bobby has an INSANELY large fan base

Right, I get that, that’s one of the cool things about the show. But when you get to the winner and people no longer feel like their watching matters anymore, the show not only loses its viewership, it loses its purpose. Bobby has an enormous fan base, as does Joe, but because people that like them disproportionately watch this show over fan bases of other celebrities, that’s going to skew the perception of who “America’s favorite dancer” is. I’m not saying do away with viewer votes, but I would like to play around with some ways to statistically alter the weight or ratio of viewer votes vs judges scores.
