my relationship with my ability to lie is so strange cause to those closest to me i’m known as an absolute shit liar. but that’s because when i am specifically (comically) bad at lying to those closest to me. when it comes to others i can lie quite easily, as long as i feel like its necessary in some way and not actually hurting anyone, white lies basically. survival lies i can do no matter who the person. if its something personal i feel is very significant, then i can lie about that. but if loved ones were to ever actually confront me about something it’s over. like i just physically cant face them and lie about what they just directly asked me. i’ve tried before, but i always noticeably hesitate- which is what makes me known as such a shit liar. like in that situation i basically go “n-no…..” while looking away in comically obvious guilt.

nah i work in a tourist town and this sh real. the issue ain’t the kids, it’s the grown fucking adult “parents” expecting some random cashier to parent their child for them. like nah girl you’re the one who gave beth to that. have fun!

i love kids i really do. but as an employee, i am not your kids fucking math teacher. there’s a massive line of people waiting behind while you insist your child count out the change he’s clearly not capable of counting yet and he’s struggling and stressing under the pressure and so am i so is everyone! because this is NOT the time to teach your kid how to do math and exchange money. teach him that shit one on one first before you take him out for real life experience. christ the kid can’t even recognize what coins are which yet why are you tryin to make him pay himself? FUCKING TEACH HIM FIRST. you’re the parent, not me. i’ll always be kind as i can to kids, but i’ve got little patience for parents pushing their responsibilities onto strangers. like it’s not some random customer service employee responsibility to talk your kid through counting out change while a line out the door builds behind you. read the fucking room and maybe just MAYBE teach your kid math on your own time when they don’t gotta feel rushed and also you’re not being blatantly ignorant of everyone around you JUST SAYIN
