Do you have any neurodivergency headcanons for the corpse party characters?
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to dump one of my unfinished drafts here without worrying about it not being complete lmao. I was in the process of trying to make a full autistic hcs post, intended for it to be all-Kisaragi, then added Aiko bc of all the characters I think canonly she's most likely to be autistic (based on my own self-projection onto her characteristics):
Ayumi: can get very overwhelmed by sensory overload which sends her into hyperventilation pretty often. She has a hyper-attachment to her elder sister, and doesn't seem to get close with anyone else. She's also very strict about following social rules, having not fit in as a child, and so always makes sure to use her manners and look people in the eyes (when she respects them enough to do so). Infodumps paranormal-related stuff all the fucking time
Yoshiki: Cannot sit still for the life of him, somewhere between autistic and ADHD. Complete opposite of Ayumi with very little social awareness, making him come across as pretty brash. Yoshiki's meltdowns manifest themselves in rage, and he finds himself stuck thinking about the same thing and can't calm down even when everybody else has moved on. Also has pretty poor concentration and a strong attachment to Ayumi due to their first meeting
Mayu: hyperemotive to her core, and always trying to help out as many people as she can. She often feels quite dependent on other people to help her, but tries to let them know how much she appreciates them, and helps them as much as she can in turn. Really good at hyperfocusing on her projects to the point where she often forgets about anything and anyone else - luckily, Shig is there to remind her
Sakutaro: also feels emotions very strongly, but through trauma during his childhood has found the ability to repress it and so comes across as the opposite to many people. Has a hyper-attachment to Mayu, who he tries his hardest to help as much as possible as a thanks for being his first friend. Like Ayumi, he learnt many of the social rules and applies them wherever possible, but it doesn't come naturally to him, and sometimes his instinct takes over, so he appears very cold to other people. Has a very strong interest in film and drama and will infodump wherever given the chance
Aiko: has no practical experience of social interaction and ends up making friends with people younger than her as a result because no one in her year really gets her (she's a third year!). very strong special interest in supernatural items and collecting them and tends to focus on that rather than considering the feelings of others or moral implications. Very shocked at Sayaka's invitation of friendship and unsure how to act around her and Naho, but deeply appreciates them despite not knowing how to express it
