This song just turned seven years old, and maybe I was kicking myself for keeping it quiet in my voice notes and documents and the memories of my college friends, but I'm not kicking myself anymore - because it was supposed to be out and alive and it was supposed to be now.
Back then, I didn't have any of you. My community, my friends - we weren't the versions of ourselves we were supposed to be.
