Welcome Fall!

Well I'm back, I didn't mean to stay away for so long.  This past summer literally flew by.  What have I been up to???... Traveling around with my Tree Thug, spending quality time with my girls, and working on very little creations.

Now that fall is here, I can pick up the rug hooking again. In the meantime, here are a few post of creations I did work on.....

I call this my "Hipster Succulent".  I purchased a couple of terra cotta clay pots, stripped some fabric, then glued it on with Mod Podge and wha-La!

I tried my hand at Macramé and discovered that I LOVE Macramé !!! 

.... and last but not least....

Crocheting a new Boho Granny throw blanket... don't you just love the fall colors!

A Little Crocheting & A Whole Lot of Planting Going On!

This past weekend was the best, the Tree Thug and I took a long drive out to the middle of no where it seemed, to visit a Cactus Nursery I've never been before. 

Needless to say we came home with a bunch of Cacti & Succulent goodness!

This one is what I call " My Blooming Cacti ", I've had her for about four months now!

.... and I just had to purchase more of these little beauties!

On another note.... hooking my wool rug has been placed on hold, just until the weather cools down.  It's so hard to hook a wool rug on your lap in triple digit weather, so I've turned to some unfinished creations, in the hopes of completing more textile goodness!
