If you haven’t seen it yet and it’s showing in your area, definitely go see Your Name! It’s beautiful and funny and well-made, and it has the most gorgeous environment paintings I’ve ever seen in a film, I’m mean it’s not even remotely close. Seriously, just go and enjoy :)

Hey buds it’s the 20th birthday of my fav show . Tune back in next time when I fail to avoid rewatching Buffy for the 11th time and still cry at all the same episodes.

Yoooooo I just finished listening to Six of Crows and now I’m starting Crooked Kingdom and boy howdy do I love these crime kids and all their broken lil hearts bless ‘em

Okay so I went to the Getty last weekend and they have this incredible exhibit on alchemy, so when I went home I looked up female alchemists because the exhibit had mentioned a few and I am ALWAYS on board to learn about badass ladies of history, and I ended up stumbling across Hypatia who is really only considered by some to be an alchemist, but what she WAS was an incredible mathematician and scholar, a widely acknowledged incredible academic mind. She ended up being murdered like, super brutally after some conflicts between the Christians and Jews of the area, and later all her published work was destroyed during the burning of the Library of Alexandria, but she was so incredible she continues to be remembered. ANYWAYS look her up. Also look up Mary the Jewess, who was huge in the alchemy biz back in the day.
